BACKGROUND• Helping Hands Trust is a not for profit organization.
It’s been striving to reduce unemployment, poverty and illiteracy since 2004. Now for expanding the sphere of our work we have initiated a campaign against unemployment called “Let’s Work”.
CONCEPT• This campaign is especially designed to facilitate people in getting
better job opportunities.
• We started the 1st version of this campaign in March 1st 2015.
• With this campaign we are going to register approx. 20,000 jobless and job seeking youth of Karachi to provide them:
– Job oriented trainings,– Scholarships,– Fee discounts on the technical courses and– Exposure to job fair.

PHASES OF LET’S WORK• We have divided this campaign into 3
phases:• Registration Phase.
• Workshop Phase.
• Job Fair Phase.
Registration Phase• In this phase, our Let’s
Work Teams visit different:– Colleges,– Coaching centers,– Learning institutes,– Universities,– Societies &– Public places
• of Karachi to register people in this campaign.
Workshop Phase• In this phase, we conduct different job oriented
training sessions. So far we have successfully held 3 Workshops:
• Free Job Oriented training session.• Customer & Complaint Handling Session.• Resume your future.

Job Fair Phase• In this phase, we
organized a job fair with a collaboration of KYSN for the job seeking youth of Karachi. In that Job fair we invited 18 companies with 200 jobs and approx 1000 participants.

What We HaveDone So Far!
• In the first Version of Let’s Work, we performed this campaign in few areas of Karachi for the month of March till May. We visited different colleges, coaching centers & Language institutes.
• We interacted with the students of those institutes and pitched them the idea of Let’s Work.
• Out of which we performed sample based Registration campaign in four institutes and registered approximately above 200 Students.– National College– Anglophile– Sir Sham’s Anglophile– Student’s inn

• We informed our registrants about different jobs and certification opportunities via– SMS, EMAILS & PHONE CALLS
• We invited them on the following Certification workshops:– Get in the Game by (Future Development Program)– Free Job Oriented training session by (Let’s Work)– Customer & Complaint Handling Session by (Let’s Work)– Resume your future by (Let’s Work)– Become a Big Thinker by (Rose point)
• Our Job Bank Team informed them about different job opportunities on daily basis.
• We also invited them on following events & programs:– Edwise by (KYSN)– Different programs of “IamKarachi Baat Cheet”

• At last to wind up our first version of “Let’s Work”, we performed our first job fair with KYSN. In which we invited all our registrants as well as other people of Karachi.
