Dear Dr. Solomon This is to certify that you presented a talk and a Poster on your work entilted “The Role of Pro‐inflammatory Cytokines and the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and its Receptors in influencing Lymphangiogenesis in Filarial and Cancer Subjects”. In the Inflammatory Processes workshop at the 39th Annual Autumn Immunology Conference held in Chicago, IL on 19‐22 November 2010. I congratulate you for presenting your work at such a international forum of Immunology and I am very much happy that you are the only Indian travelled from India for this conference. As I had chaired the session and I had observed that your talk was good in explaining the conceptual understanding of your work carried out at your place, It was pretty good work to study and understand the role of Pro-inflammatory cytokines in both lymphoedema cases of Cancer and Filarial patients, and it was much interesting also to comprehend the functional roles VGEF factors and its receptors which has promising scope for prophylactic measures and potential drug targets. My personal suggestion to you could be, if you could carry out this work in large number of subjects like 100 patients and seek good funds for supporting your work this could lead to very good piece of publication in a reasonably good impact factor journal and eventually find out some lead drug targets for both these chronic pathologies of lymphoedema subjects. I wish you all the best for your future endeavours of your research work and I wish you carry forward this good work and accomplish the task of finding a cure to the suffering millions across the globe.
