I am Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Allen B. West, currently President/CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis, and former Member of the 112th Congress. The purpose of this letter is to offer my recommendation for Ryan Dean. I have known Ryan for five years and we have worked closely together before, during, and after serving as a US Congressman in South Florida. The most descriptive words for Ryan are loyal, disciplined, steadfast, highly competent, and focused. During my time in Congress, Ryan coordinated security coverage at countless events and developed a profound professional reputation with local law enforcement agencies in South Florida. After my time in Congress, Ryan became an event coordinator for the Allen West Foundation whose mission was to develop the next generation of conservative leaders focused on the High School Junior ROTC programs. Regardless of the task, I could always count on Ryan to exceed expectations. Ryan's commitment to excellence is rooted in his service to the New York Police Department from which he retired. He is a committed family man to his children which for me is a great indicator of a man's heart. Ryan was more than just someone with whom I worked.
