Capt. Joel Stoller July 20, 2014 MD-83 / Falcon Air W174 N8902 Christopher Blvd. Menomonee Falls, WI 53051-2074 To whom it may concern: Ms. Melissa Matthews, a pilot colleague of mine at Falcon Air, has indicated to me that she is pursuing a new Flight Officer position. Melissa is seeking a career with a solid aviation company, the objective being long term career security and stability with a proven and well established flight department. I believe Ms. Matthews would be a very valuable asset for any flight department. As an MD-83 Captain at Falcon Air and previously Midwest Express, and having flown with Melissa many times since 2013, I feel that I am qualified to attest to the aviation skills and abilities of Melissa as an aviator. Ms. Mathews is one of the best “managers of flight” I have ever flown with. From our first flight together as a crew, I was impressed with her natural skills as a pilot, and complimented her on the ability to manage a flight while monitoring all pertinent aspects, such as weather data, dispatch, maintenance, ground services, flight attendants, and ATC. Melissa exemplifies what a Captain appreciates most from a colleague when flying. This includes safe flying, FAR discipline, detailed aircraft knowledge, good CRM and great crew compatibility. These are all skills that make for a fine Captain, as Ms. Matthews has previously demonstrated at previous carriers she has flown with in her career. I feel that Ms. Melissa Matthews would be an excellent flight crew member and a fine addition to any flight department, and I give you my highest recommendation. Please feel free to contact me for any additional comments on Ms. Matthews abilities as a professional aviator.

To whom it may concern:

Ms.

Sincerely,
