(AT3, part A Level 4, part B Level 5) For part A, pupils read the text and choose the correct word for each space. They need to do this task by itself without having another task in sight. For part B, they read the letter from Fernán and answer the questions in English. This task type is similar to tasks in Asset Languages assessments.

(AT4, Levels 3–5) Pupils write a text about their holidays. There are questions and visual prompts to support them in planning and organising ideas, as well as structuring their piece of writing.

For Level 4, pupils can adapt the example given and add information to produce their own text.

For Level 5 pupils will make use of the questions given in the past tense in order to produce a text which includes the required grammatical structures.
