Based on a survey of 274 senior decision makers working in various IT related executive and management roles, it reveals technology investment plans, business drivers and anticipated challenges around network modernisation, cloud migration, mobile device rollouts and data security implementations. Lower TCO is Top Transformation Business Driver A larger number of companies have identified digital transformation first and foremost as a way to reduce the cost of their IT service delivery. But half see it as a forward looking strategy that will help them expand the business through support for greater product/service innovation andimprovements to the customer experience. Digital Transformation Challenges Loom Large Keeping up with the pace of change, finding the right partners to assist in digital transformation and implementing effective data security on the underlying networks, systems and applications are the foremost challenges for companies embarking on digital transformation projects. They also fear they may be held back by a lack of in-house knowledge and the absence of a clear road map.
