Two-dimensional•  Parents “drop-in” from time to time•  Parents help during excursions

•  Parents attend information sessions•  Learning is shared with parents “at the end” •  Parents involved in homework tasks

Dynamic

•  Regular two-way channels of communication are open•  Student-led and 3-Way conferences are used for

academic feedback and goal-setting•  Parents are brought in at different stages in the

learning process•  Parents act as experts and inquirers•  Parents help formulate curriculum
