On Shop Floor Use Case:
• A pump manufacturer has sensors
available that would measure the vital
parameters of the pump on the field
• All production equipment have sensors on
production system operational parameters
Challenge
• Inability to collect and analyze this
real-time data centrally which could
give deeper insights into this remotely
operating pump.
• Translating and correlating that data
with production data on the shop floor
Solution:
• Sensor data from multiple sensors were
sampled and transmitted securely to the
cloud based Altizon Datonis Platform™
which would aggregate this information
and run analytics on them.
• Altizon built a small hardware appliance
that contained a data collection agent built
using the Aliot Agent SDK.
• Custom visualization dashboards to view
the information being transmitted by the
remote pumps as well as set up e-mail and
text alerting based on vital parameters.
• What-if analysis on shop floor processes
correlated to on-field situations
