PROFILE I am 17 years old and I am studying animal management at Walkden Sixth Form College. I have just completed my first year. I am looking for part-time work to include weekend work and weekdays after college. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS I have worked voluntarily every week at a local kennels and cattery which I have done since August 2014. I was chosen by my teachers at Flixton Junior School to take part in a scheme over several weeks to help children with disabilities at Delamere Special School. I received 2 merit awards from my teachers for outstanding care and dedication. I’ve played football for several years for Urmston Meadowside and was chosen for the school football team. I have also played for Urmston hockey team. EXPERIENCE I enjoy meting meeting people and being part of a team. I have completed 2 work placements at Beseeka kennels in Urmston as part of my college course. My responsibility has been to feed the dogs at certain times and clean out all of the kennels. I have also helped with general outdoor maintenance at the site. As well as this, I have helped my parents with management of their current rental properties. EDUCATION & TRAINING Stretford Grammar School 2009-2014 I am currently working towards a BTEC course in Animal Care and Management at Walkden College. I have recently completed my first year at Walkden College being awarded 3 distinctions and 3 merits for my assignments. CORE SKILLS Well developed IT skills include: designing and creating websites, data organisation including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Good practical skills and enjoy fixing things.
