Wood Components

LEX wood components feature balanced 3-ply panels finished with

a durable 2-ply edge band. All wood surfaces in LEX utilize the

highest quality natural veneers from sustainable, managed forests.

Veneer lay-up is performed in-house by skilled artisans one office

at a time to guarantee the most beautiful veneer match possible.

Panels are constructed from durable MR2 FSC particleboard.

Chemcolor Components

LEX Chemcolor features durable tinted urethanes on carb compliant

MDF. Chemcolor delivers rich, beautiful color in solid hues or metallic

tones. Chemcolor is environmentally conscious and MAS certified

green, just like our wood finishes. We'll also match your favorite color

on any order, just ask.

Metal Components

LEX metals are composed of steel and aluminum chosen for their

availability, versatility, and sustainable nature. Components are

designed in such a way to maximize conversion of raw material into

finished good. In addition all, LEX metal components are designed

so that they may be easily disassembled for recycling at the

end of their useful life.

The LEX Platform

LEX platform provides a logical and convenient kit of parts

which allow for innumerable combinations, easily satisfying any

areas particular need. The platform is designed in such a way

to remain transparent to end user power / data routing both before,

during, and after installation. LEX platform allows for re-purposing

of components owing to its modular nature easily adding capacity

to existing product.

Worksurfaces

All worksurfaces feature LEX's distinct and modern thin edge

profile. Worksurfaces are available in wood and Corian as stan-

dard options. Convenient wire path and grommet options exist

throughout.

Chassis Construction

LEX chassis are assembled with a variety of wood joinery and

discrete fasteners. All LEX chassis feature dovetailed drawers

and the highest quality soft close hardware. Where applicable

finished backs are available.

Lex Shelving

LEX shelves are made of a proprietary patent pending composite

material, enabling thin wood shelves to support standard over head

loads.

Right Handed / Vertical Storage Construction

LEX Right Handed and storage components share the same durable

construction method and high quality hardware as the chassis.

Table / Desk Construction

LEX tables and desks feature rigid dual beam work surface supports.

LE.IV

HALCON offers a broad array of Wood veneer species and finishes. In order to fully specify Wood finish products, HALCON utilizes a two-code system. The first code indicates the veneer species and cut that is used on the product. The second code indicates the finish that is applied to the veneer. (Ex. CHFC, CH11S4 indicates Flat Cut Cherry veneer with a Light Cherry finish.) To specify product in a Wood finish, first select the veneer species and then select a corresponding finish

offered in that veneer species. Note that HALCON flat cut and half round cut veneers are book-matched, while quarter cut and rift cut veneers are slip-matched.

HALCON also specializes in custom veneers and finish matches. There is a one-time charge of 400 List to match a finish sample. Please contact the HALCON factory for pricing on special veneer selections.

General Information

Terms & Conditions

Placing an OrderPlease confirm that you have gathered all required information prior to placing your order. Specify all items by their product number, along with the quantity, finish color, tagging information and all other specifications necessary to fully define your order. If your project has a HALCON Quote Number, it must be referenced on your purchase order to ensure timely order processing. Purchase orders should be submitted electronically to [email protected].

Prices & TermsAll prices are list, freight prepaid, FOB Stewartville, Minnesota. HALCON pricing includes packing for North American shipment. Prices do not include crating, storage, shipping, delivery, installation or taxes. Payment terms based on credit approval and project scope. HALCON reserves the right to make changes to price without prior notice.

Order AcknowledgmentAll orders and subsequent change orders must be in writing. HALCON will issue a written acknowledgment; customers should verify the acknowledgment for accuracy. The acknowledgment is the final agreement between HALCON and the customer. The price list identifies the information that must be noted on the purchase order. Any omission may result in the delay of processing your order. All quotations, acknowledgments, and invoices are subject to corrections for errors or omissions.

Changes & CancellationsRequests for changes or cancellations of acknowledged orders must be made in writing and will only be approved by mutual agreement. A minimum 25% change/cancellation charge will apply.

Freight TermsAll merchandise is shipped FOB factory, Stewartville, Minnesota. All shipments are made according to the purchaser’s instructions, or what in HALCON’s judgment is the best way if instructions are not received, and at the purchaser’s risk. All orders are acknowledged with an approximate shipping date. Shipping charges are prepaid (within the continental United States).

ClaimsHALCON is not responsible for damage to merchandise which occurs in transit or Storage. It is the customer’s responsibility to examine furniture upon receipt and note any damage in transit on the carrier’s delivery receipt. The carrier should be notified by the buyer to inspect the merchandise, and file a claim immediately. If visible damage is not apparent, sign the delivery receipt ‘NO VISIBLE DAMAGE’. This will allow recourse for a concealed damage claim.

DeliveriesAll orders are acknowledged with an approximate shipping date. HALCON’s liability ends when the carrier issues a receipt to HALCON Corporation, which is an acknowledgment by transportation company that the shipment has been received by the freight company in good condition.

Visible DamageAll visible damage or any shortages must be noted on the carrier receipt and signed by the delivering driver. Do not sign the receipt until the visual inspection is complete at the time of delivery.

Repair AuthorizationPrior written approval is required for repairs of merchandise charged to HALCON. Failure to do so will result in customer funded repairs.

Concealed DamageAll cartons must be opened and inspected prior to signing the bill of lading. Damage which is not apparent until merchandise is unpacked, will only be recognized if HALCON is contacted within 72 hours of receipt of goods. Any claims against HALCON for defects, errors or shortages must be made by the customer in writing within 72 hours of the delivery date. Failure of the customer to make any claim against HALCON within the 72 hour period shall constitute acceptance of the merchandise and a waiver of defects, errors or shortages. Damaged freight cannot be refused by the consignee (buyer). Request an immediate inspection. Keep all packing materials pending inspection. Do not move merchandise from the receiving area

StorageIf shipment of completed merchandise is postponed by the customer, HALCON reserves the right to transfer the merchandise to Storage, all at the customer’s risk and expense. Such transfer to Storage shall be deemed delivery to the customer for all purposes, including invoicing.

Warranty HALCON merchandise is manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of design and manufacture, and is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten years from date of delivery (with the exception of electronic and communication components which are warranted for one year), under normal use and under conditions for which the product was designed. Electric height-adjustable desks are warranted for five years while pneumatic height-adjustable desks are warranted for two years. During this warranty period, HALCON will repair, or at its own option, replace, such merchandise as shall prove to be defective. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence or abuse. Warranty does not extend to personal or residential purchases. Fabrics are in no way warranted by HALCON. This warranty does not extend to color, grain, or texture of natural materials such as wood, marble or leather, because of naturally occurring variations. HALCON does not warrant matching of color grain or texture, except as specified in the order confirmation. All other warranties (including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose) are hereby excluded. The foregoing shall constitute HALCON’s sole warranty and exclusive remedy of customer. HALCON shall not be liable for loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, or incidental or consequential damages.

Wall Mounted CabinetsAll wall mounted cabinets and shelves include a separate wall cleat that is sized to support the cabinet but does not include wall cleat attachment hardware. The structural capacity of the support wall and the anchoring of the cleat to the wall are beyond the control and expertise of HALCON. It is, therefore, understood by all parties involved that it is the responsibility of the buyer, owner and/or installer to consult with the building owner, architect, interior designer, structural engineer and/or contractor to ensure that the supporting wall structure and cleat attachment method will support the size and weight of the specific cabinet selected from the HALCON price list.

MiscellaneousAll products shown in the HALCON catalog are, and remain, the property of HALCON, and HALCON reserves the exclusive right to manufacture the models shown. All dimensions and weights shown are to be considered approximate. HALCON reserves the right to make changes in dimensions, design and/or construction without prior notice.

Order Worksurfaces.

> It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the use of the pre-wired electrical

systems, the number of Duplex used on a given circuit, the connection to the

building electrical supply all be in compliance with all local codes.

• Specification of the electrical components required is the sole responsibility

of the end electrician.

• Licensed electricians will be required to connect to the building power supply.

• Licensed electricians may be required to install power system in product.

• Components are not compatible with other systems nor are they within

the product offering (3+1 vs 2+2).

8-Track Electrical System

• The 8-track modular system is available in two configurations.

• Both configurations utilize 8 wires rated at 20 amps (15 amps Canada).

• Each offers isolated / dedicated circuits for sensitive equipment.
