Why Transition to CNG?
Lower cost of fuel, domestic product• $1.50 to $2 below the cost/gallon of diesel
Projected savings in vehicle maintenance• Annual savings of about $6,500 per truck in fuel and maintenance.
Extend life of tune-up by 50,000 miles, and oil changes are good for an extra 25,000 miles.
Better for the environment• 20-30% reduction in greenhouse emissions
And the vehicles are quiet!
