NOW HIRING for Safety Officer positions with the Lexington Police Department. Qualified individuals are needed to respond to traffic-related calls for service, enforce parking regulations and assisting with traffic safety programs. This civilian position does not have authority to make arrests or carry deadly weapons.
POSITION:• Safety Officer 2597• Full-time• $14.84 minimum per hour

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:• High school, GED, or specialized vocational training.• Must be at least 21 years of age.• Must have a valid Driver’s License. • Must pass 8-week paid training academy certified by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council
prior to being appointed.
