Aſter co-hosting Signal Radio’s breakfast show, alongside Louise Stones and Andy Cook, Jonathan Wilkes (Dick Whittington), Christian Patterson (Sarah the Cook) and Louise Dearman (Alice) visited the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery. Naturally, they were invited to look at the Staffordshire Hoard gold collection (as part of the panto’s story features gold-paved city streets). Said Jonny (a firm panto favourite across the area): “We’ve got some fantastic surprises in store this year, and we can’t wait until Panto Season arrives and we can get started. “I would urge everyone to come along and see the show; we have so much fun, making it, and we want as many people as possible to enjoy it. “Seeing people leave the theatre with huge smiles on their faces at Christmas time gives us all so much joy.” Also coming back is First Family Entertainment, which is producing ‘Dick Whittington’. FFE is no stranger to the Hanley theatre, having presented smash-hit productions of ‘Mother Goose’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and ‘Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates’. ‘Dick Whittington’ can be enjoyed at e Regent eatre from Friday, November 28th, 2014, until Sunday, January 4th, 2015.
