LGfL Digital Signage is a proven method to communicate with pupils, staff and guests - getting the right message to the right person at the right time. The solution uses a Net-Top-Box that comes pre-loaded with digital signage software. The Net-Top-Box connects to the existing network and its user-friendly interface is accessed by a web browser, on any PC or Mac with access to that network. Adding content can be as simple as importing the appropriate information, choosing the media, picking a display template, and then entering the times when the content should appear. No complicated programming is required and if subsequent updates are needed then these can be implemented online at any time. Access to the Net-Top-Box can be limited to authorised personnel, since it is necessary to log in with a valid username and password. These credentials can be given different system privileges, so that access to facilities for adding specific content is restricted to certain users. The Net-Top-Box can be fully integrated with the LGfL Unified Sign-On (USO), enabling authorised personnel access to the management interface using their existing LGfL username and password.

Using conventional audio-visual connections or Cat5 cable a totally flexible solutions can be offered. A single display or more complex multiple display content solutions can be installed throughout a school.
