FADE IN:

1 EXT. TOWN - DAY

SUPER: A FUTURE TEXAS.

The town has no modern cars and most modern buildings areabandoned or destroyed, replaced with simple huts. The townhas the look of a time long ago. A few townsfolk walkaround, most wearing rags and lightly threaded clothes.

Two men arrive on horseback in the Civilian Police Forceoutfit. As townsfolk notice them, some scurry in fear.

The Civilian Police Force uniform is black, with a redbelt. They also wear a red and white Beret. A golden badgein the shape of a circle with the letters C.P.F. imprintedon it is worn above the left breast.

On the right is MAXWELL PERCIVAL (30s). A big, strong andwell-built warrior with a rough face and beard. On the leftis LANDON LYGOON (20s) who is tall and handsome in hisuniform. He carries with him an air of arrogance andcontempt. Maxwell has a large spiked mace in his belt, whileLandon sports a sword in his.

LANDON LYGOONGod, that smell! These towns shouldbe burned along with all the trash.

(yells)Terrorist sympathizers!

Maxwell flashes a dirty look at Landon, which Landonnotices.

LANDON LYGOON (CONTD)I forgot, you sympathize withthem. You forget where oursympathy got us, Maxwell?

MAXWELLWere just here to find him,Landon. We do that, then we go.

LANDON LYGOON(in a loud theatrical voice)

Yes sir, lord Maxwell Percival!

They stop in front of a small home. A dirty old man millsaround out front. Landon gets off the horse and approacheshim.

LANDON LYGOON (CONTD)What are you doing here, old man?

OLD MAN(to Landon)

Do you have any gold dust, food,

silver? Can you spare anything son?

LANDON LYGOON(to the old man)

You can only use United Statesdollars and coins. Gold and silverare outlawed, dont you know? Nowget going before we bring you in.

Maxwell gets off his horse and stands near Landon andsurveys the town.

OLD MAN

(to Landon)Dollars dont buy nothin anymore.Do you have anything else?

LANDON LYGOONNo! Now do you know whos in thishouse here, huh old man?

OLD MANAh, to hell with you..

The old man begins to stagger off, but before he can, Landonkicks him violently to the ground. Several people from the

town watch on with hatred. Maxwell goes to the man on theground.

OLD MAN (CONTD)(to Landon)

You should be ashamed!

Maxwell helps him up and proceeds to give him some smallsilver coins.

OLD MAN (CONTD)(to Maxwell)

Oh, God bless you son.

The old man walks away as fast as he can.

LANDON LYGOONWhat the hell, Maxwell!

MAXWELL(to Landon)

He aint hurtin anybody! Now letsfind this man!

Maxwell leads Landon quickly to the front door of the hutand knocks.

LANDON LYGOON(yelling)

OPEN UP!

Slowly the door opens and a dirty young woman appears.

WOMENYes?

Landon has the look of a wolf thats found its prey andwalks in the hut.

2 INT. THE HUT - SAME

LANDON LYGOONWhere is Hadeem?

WOMEN(beat)

I dont know, he left. Heard theC.P.F was lookin for him. Left mealone.. With our son.

She walks over to a poor excuse for a crib where a babylays.

MAXWELL(to the women)

Well, were sorry we bugged -

LANDON LYGOON(interrupts)

He was your lover. Tell me, did youknow you were married to aterrorist? Hadeem the terrorist? Doyou know the penalty for aiding a

terrorist?

The women becomes frightened as the baby begins to cry.

LANDON LYGOON (CONTD)Im afraid were gonna have tobring you in. Also, youre behindon your taxes. I doubt you can payit, right?

WOMENNo. I told you, he left me. Hewasnt a terrorist. If I go, wholltake care of my son?

LANDON LYGOON

Good point. You have no money, yetyou owe. You aided a suspectedterrorist who we cant find and allyou have is your son. Tsk, Tsk.Youre just... not a very valuablemember of society, are you?

Fear grips the womans face as Landon draws his sword..

MAXWELL(to Landon)

Wait!

- Landon quickly stabs her in the stomach. Maxwell pushesLandon down and tries in vein to help her. The womansterror-filled eyes burn a hole into Maxwells. Shestruggles to get some words out.

THE WOMAN(slurred and very weakly)

My.. baby.

She coughs up blood and slouches to the ground, dead.

MAXWELL (CONTD)(to Landon)

You son-of-a-bitch!

LANDON LYGOONIt had to be done! What good wouldshe be!? You know she couldnt takecare of herself, let alone thatchild! They were already dead.

Landon shakes as he wipes the blood off his sword.

LANDON LYGOON (CONTD)Now, take care of the baby. Im notdoing everything.

Landon begins rummaging through the house for anything ofvalue. Maxwell stares at the dead women, her blood poolingbeneath her. Maxwells attention turns to the crying baby.

LANDON LYGOON (CONTD)What are you waiting for? Do it!Get it over with!

CONTINUED: 5.

While Landon continues rummaging, Maxwell pulls out his macewhich Landon doesnt notice. Maxwell turns and with a loudyell, swings and hits Landon in the back sending himcrashing to the ground.

Dazed, Landon tries to reach for his sword as Maxwellquickly swings again. This time hitting Landons head. His

blood splatters against the wall and across Maxwells face.The only sound remaining is that of the babys crying.

3 EXT. THE HUT - CONTINUOUS

Townsfolk have gathered out front. Maxwell comes running outof the hut with the baby in his arms, the baby still crying.Maxwell pays them no attention as he jumps on his horse andawkwardly tries to ride the horse while holding the baby inone arm.

4 EXT. THE FOREST - LATER

A stream flows deep within the forest. Maxwells horse istied to a tree, while Maxwell, still with blood on his face,is washing the baby boy.

5 INT. A WARM HUT - NIGHT

The hut is warmed by a fireplace that crackles. Maxwellstands in front of a wooden table that the baby lays nakedon while a large women cleans him. Maxwell hands her somesilver coins. She stuffs the coins in a pouch and puts the

baby up to her breast as he takes milk.

Maxwell approaches a nearby window and stares up at thestars.

BIG WOMEN(to Maxwell)

Hes gonna be a looker. Gotta name?

Maxwell looks at the women, unsure.

MAXWELL(long beat)

I think.. Alexander.

FADE TO BLACK.

FADE IN:

A golden map of America slowly burns up from the outside in.

VOICE OVERAs America began to fall deeper anddeeper into bankruptcy, societybegan to unravel. The welfare andwarfare system had changed Americagreatly. The dollar had become

useless. A nuclear terrorist attackon Washington led to the creationof the Civilian Police Force.

A nuclear bomb explodes over Washington D.C. Troops march.

VOICE OVER (CONTD)The Civilian Police Force was setupto hunt down any suspected threatsto the government. All forms ofbroadcast media and travel wereseized by the Federal Government.America was no longer the land of

the free.

The Civilian Police Force stop people at road checkpoints,major airports are completely empty. Middle Eastern men aremarched into camps.

VOICE OVER (CONTD)As time went on and the countrystarted to become drasticallypoorer as the dollar continued tolose its value, and the CivilianPolice became increasingly corrupt.

The Civilian Police Force attacks civilians dressed in rags,taking peoples money and setting homes on fire. Middleeastern men are forced down while a "T" is burnt on the leftside of their face.

VOICE OVER (CONTD)Large militias started to grow inforce across the country. One ofthe largest of them was Liberty.Lead by the great warrior Alexanderand his father Maxwell, Liberty hadbecome a great threat to the localCivilian Police Force of Texas.

The map completely burns up and we go to black.

VOICE OVER (CONTD)This, is their story.

7.

6 EXT. LIBERTY - DAY

High 30 foot walls surround Liberty. A stream winds downfrom the northern forested mountain to the center of thetown forming a small lake. Nothing can be seen for milesoutside the town.

About 35 small huts are scattered about the town. A horsestable, church, armory and ranch complete the interior ofthe town.

To the far west are the gates of Liberty. A single, 35 footwatch tower is positioned just south and above the gates.Liberty is nestled at the base of a mountain, protecting itfrom the outside world.

7 EXT. LIBERTY LAKE SHORE - DAY

ALEXANDER (18) stands shirtless practicing moves with hissword. He has the sort of body which suggests he does thisoften. Very attractive with blond, somewhat unmanageablehair which drapes over his sweaty face. The shorts are madeof a very thin cloth. Behind Alexander we hear the sound ofwater splashing.

THE LAKE

TYLER RANDELL (18) swims aggressively to shore. He has darkbrown hair, tall with an athletic physique. As he reachesthe shore, Alexander takes notice of him.

TYLERAlexander, my fastest lap yet. Careto race?

ALEXANDER(grins)

Keep workin at it Tyler. Butyoull never be faster than me.

TYLEROh yeah? Lets go then..

Tyler gestures to the lake as they dive in and race across.

LATER

Tyler and Alexander both sit on the shore. Water drippingfrom their faces.

ALEXANDER(breathless)

I let you win.

TYLER(laughs)

You gonna watch the speech?

ALEXANDERThe great William Aiden? Everyonesbeen talkin about him. Not surewhat the big deal is.

TYLER(beat)

Can you imagine not having to worryabout the CPF? We have to armor upjust to go outside of Liberty. Somesay hell disband it. Can youimagine that? End the wars..

ALEXANDER(beat)

Ill believe it when I see it. Youhave one of your dreams about him?

TYLER(laughs)

No, not yet. Youll be the first,well the only one to know when Ido.

Footsteps approach. Maxwell, now much older stands beforethem.

MAXWELLAlexander, get that wood?

ALEXANDERYes, hours ago.

MAXWELLTyler hows that pretty mom ofyours doing?

TYLERShes okay. Been busy.

MAXWELL(beat)

Yeah.. You boys ready for tomorrow?Alexander? Could get tough outthere..

ALEXANDER(beat)

Yeah, sure.

They notice Alexanders disinterest.

TYLER

(to Alexander)Youre the best we have.

MAXWELL(to Tyler)

Yeah and just think how much betterhed be without the attitude.

Alexander gets up and begins walking back toward town asTyler and Maxwell follow.

ALEXANDERLets go.. Ive gotta go watch the

new "savior" speak.

TYLEROh you laugh now, but just you see.

MAXWELLSavior? What the hell you on aboutXander?

8 EXT. LIBERTY CHURCH - NIGHT

An old white church with a modern TV where the preacher

should be. The pews are packed with the people of Liberty.The door to the church is wide open with people standing atthe back and out the door, struggling to hear.

In the front row is Alexander. Seated to his right is AISHANEVAEH (19), along with her family who are Arab. Her hairand much of her face are covered in black middle easterngarb.

Her parents, MISHA AND ZIYAD sit next to her dressed in asimilar fashion except for Ziyad, whos head and face arefully exposed. Ziyad has a mark on the left side of his facewith the letter, T.

To Alexanders left is Tyler and his mother, JENNIFERRANDELL (MID 30S), along with Maxwell.

ON THE TV

WILLIAM AIDEN (40s) is being interviewed.

INTERVIEWERAfter years of no election, peopleare finally being allowed to vote.How will you change things?

WILLIAM AIDEN

We have to regain our trust infreedom. Its as though freedom hasbecome our enemy, and tyranny ourfriend. I dont think thats theway it should ever be. At least notin America.

INTERVIEWERSo you say, but there are those whosay our lax, open society invitedthe attack on our capital and damnnear destroyed America. That if wedont continue to fight them and

seek them out, that we will onlyinvite further attacks.

WILLIAM AIDENIts imperative that we, if we wishto retain our freedom, we must stopgetting involved in unnecessaryconflicts and wars. If we do that,then we need not succumb to thetemptation of an all powerful andeventually tyrannical government.

INTERVIEWER

Do you worry about these antigovernment militias being formed?

The people of Liberty exchange looks of excitement.

WILLIAM AIDENAbsolutely not. Its the CivilianPolice Force that I and mostAmericans fear. Its the suspensionof our rights that I fear. If itsfreedom terrorists want to destroythen why has our governmentsuspended most of our freedoms?Its illogical.

INTERVIEWERSo how will you do it?

WILLIAM AIDENWe have to begin right now anddisband the Civilian Police Force

and restore the Constitution andBill of Rights. Without it, werelost.

The church erupts with cheering and clapping.

WILLIAM AIDEN (CONTD)Once we regain our faith infreedom, then hope can and willeventually return. And Im speakingof a meaningful hope that is builtupon the principles of freedom thatmade our country great, not thetyrannical and almost socialisticprinciples weve been followingthat have brought us down. End thewars, restore sound money and thenwe can get back to prosperity.

The interview ends as the town applauds.

ALEXANDER(to Tyler)

Theyll take him out if hecontinues talking like that..

TYLERTold you! Hes on to something.

9 INT. LIBERTY ARMORY - NIGHT

30+ people stand around a long, wooden table. Along thewalls are numerous guns, swords, knives, maces and shields.Alexander, Tyler, Ziyad, Aisha and Misha are closest toMaxwell who stands at the table, pointing down to a wornmap..

MAXWELLLooks like theyll be trying toraid Reforge. Looks like aterrorist run...

ZIYAD(chuckles)

Were everywhere...

MAXWELLThey wont be expecting us. Wesurprise them, stop them and getback here. Hopefully this will be agood haul.. We need it.

10 EXT. TOWN OF REFORGE - DAY

A wooden sign at the entrance says "WELCOME TO REFORGE".Below the sign stand all the warriors of Liberty as well asthe local townspeople ready for battle.

In front are Maxwell, Alexander, Ziyad, Aisha and Misha.

About 30 more men from liberty make up the rest. Tyler hangsback on horseback with his bow and arrow. Alexander standswith two swords stowed away on his back.

Maxwell sports a cross around his neck and has his favoritespiked mace and a big shield. Ziyad, Aisha and Misha standlooking very out of place in their black Muslim garb with noweapons to be seen.

Behind them are about a hundred local people with someshotguns, swords, maces and other random weapons of the day.

DOWN THE ROAD

The Civilian Police Force rides into view on horseback. Agroup of about 25 men pulling two large wagons with coveredproperty.

AT THE TOWN ENTRANCE

MAXWELL(yells)

Here they are!

The Civilian Police Force stops before the welcomingcommittee. A tall, older man gets down from his horse andapproaches the front of the line.

CIVILIAN POLICE FORCE MANBy order of the United StatesGovernment and the Texas CivilianPolice Force, we demand you move sowe can enter and search!

Maxwell and some of the men of Liberty laugh.

MAXWELLThis town will give in to no such

demands. Leave now and saveyourself an embarrassing defeat.

The man looks incredulous.

CIVILIAN POLICE FORCE MANIs that right? What is your name?

Maxwell smirks.

CONTINUED: 13.

MAXWELLPapa Smurf.

The man slowly makes his way back to his horse and gets on.He gestures to the rest of his men to continue forward intothe town. Maxwell kisses his cross, closes his eyes and

prays quickly. He opens his eyes and raises his mace and..

Both sides CHARGE.

As the two sides coalesce men from both sidesfall. Alexander charges with swords in both hands and moveswith incredibly quickness and grace, slaying soldier aftersoldier. Sometimes two at once.

Ziyad, Aisha and Misha flash about with the use of variousmartial arts moves as well as throwing daggers. TheCivilian Police Force is completely unprepared for them.

Tyler, hanging back on horseback picks off men with his bowand arrow very quickly. The remaining men from Liberty andReforge join in with general hand-to-hand fighting, lead byMaxwell who clubs men down one after the other.

The Civilian Police Force is being routed. As the CPFsnumbers dwindle, the local townsfolk stop fighting andinstead watch Alexander.

Alexander, surrounded by whats left of the Civilian PoliceForce slaughters them with unbelievable quickness and ease.

The rest of the Civilian Police Force men start to retreat

as the victors cheer.

TOWNS PEOPLE(chant in unison)

Alexander! Alexander! Alexander!

10 remaining Civilian Police Force fighters flee onhorseback, leaving the prize of two large wagons filled withweapons and coins. Guns and swords go up in the air as thevictors cheer in celebration.

Alexander stands motionless, body covered in blood. Maxwellpats Alexander on the back.

MAXWELLYou alright? Xander?

Alexander snaps out of it and nods his head.

11 EXT. RIVER BED - LATER

Alexander shakily kneels down to the water and splashes hisface. He looks down to see his hands shaking, red. He beginsfrantically washing the blood off his arms and hands.

Alexander is startled to hear a twig snap. BRAYDEN MURRAY(18) stands watching him. Brayden is holding the reins of ablack horse. Brayden has a sharply attractive face withdistinctive long, dark hair. He sports a mark in the form ofthe letter H on the left side of his face.

BRAYDENDidnt mean to scare you.

Alexander forces a grin and continues to wash in the water.

ALEXANDERNothing can scare me, Im a fierce

warrior.

Brayden smirks and walks with the horse across the river toAlexander.

BRAYDENIm from Reforge. Wanted to thankyou. The way you fought..Incredible. Names Brayden.

They shake hands as Alexander sees the mark on hisface. Brayden puts his hand over his mark, embarrassed byit.

BRAYDEN(beat)

Got it a few years ago. Looking toget the terrorist mark next.

Alexander laughs.

ALEXANDERIve never even seen one for Hbefore..

Maxwell appears.

MAXWELL(interrupts)

Alexander.

ALEXANDER(to Brayden)

AISHA(to Alexander)

You were amazing today.

ALEXANDER(scoffs)

Yeah.

Aisha sees Tyler dancing wildly with a girl.

AISHALook at him go!

Alexander looks up to notice Tyler and forces a smile thatquickly fades.

ALEXANDERAlmost as graceful as me.

The dance ends as Tyler joins Alexander and Aisha. Tyler isout of breath but he bows and extends his hand to Aisha andsays in a heavy English accent -

TYLERAisha, care to dance?

AISHA(to Tyler)

Ok. But dont you throw me all overthe place..

She takes his hand as he ushers her to the dance area. The

music takes on a faster pace as people clap. Tyler laughs ashe takes Aishas hand and lets loose. Alexander grins as hewatches Tyler swing her all over the place. Aisha smilesbrightly.

Alexander continues to watch as Tyler and Aisha areinterrupted by HAMAD (21), who is middle eastern, tall,attractive and has the mark of the terrorist. Aishastruggles to keep Hamad from Tyler. She willingly goes withHamad as Tyler stands dejected.

Alexander then notices Brayden dancing with an older women.Brayden and the women are smiling and laughing. Braydennotices Alexander and brings the women over to Alexander.

SUSANNA (40S) is a large, jovial women. She has a brightsmile and carries the warmth of a loving mother. Alexanderstands up.

BRAYDENAlexander this is my mother,Susanna.

Susannas eyes carry a happy thanks as she gives Alexander amammoth hug which he is not expecting.

SUSANNA(to Alexander)We cant thank you enough forhelping us!

ALEXANDER(beat)

Its no problem.

CHARLIE (40s) who is Braydens father, walks up behindAlexander. Charlie is tall, thin and sports a beard.

CHARLIE

(to Susanna sarcastically)Damn, women you like em younghuh?!

Charlie moves beside Susanna and puts his arm around herwith a big grin on his face.

SUSANNAOh!! Alexander dont pay him anymind.

Charlie offers his hand to Alexander.

SUSANNA (CONTD)Alexander, this is my husband,Charlie - hes quite the kidder.

CHARLIE(to Alexander)

Son, you were amazing out there.All of you were. Cant thank youenough.

ALEXANDERThanks.

CHARLIE(to Susanna)

Alright woman, you ready to dance?

Charlie tickles Susanna as they go dancing together,laughing. Brayden and Alexander turn toward everyonedancing.

BRAYDEN(chuckles)

Hope they werent too much.

ALEXANDERNah.. They seem great.

BRAYDEN(sighs)

I owe them everything. Theyre notmy real folks. They took me inthough. After I got this -

Brayden puts his hand up to his mark.

OTHER SIDE OF THE DANCE

Maxwell notices Alexander and Brayden conversing, whiletalking with a local townsfolk. Maxwell is not happy with

it.

BACK TO ALEXANDER/BRAYDEN


I didnt see you out there today.

BRAYDENNever been much of a fighter.

ALEXANDER(laughs)

More of a lover?

Brayden turns and looks Alexander dead in the eyes.

BRAYDEN(laughs)

You could say that. My skill lieselsewhere.

ALEXANDER(long beat)

I give. Where?

Brayden turns, puts his hand on Alexanders shoulder.

BRAYDENHold on, Ill show you.

Alexander is perplexed as Brayden walks over to the old manplaying the banjo. The old man gladly gives it to Brayden asthe local townsfolk gather around, excited.

Alexander moves to the front. Brayden sits and beginsstrumming the familiar cord to SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW inthe style of Israel Kamakawiwoole. The local towns peopleare familiar with his singing and start swaying together.

BRAYDEN (CONTD)

To our friends from Liberty andtheir fierce warrior - Alexander.

Brayden beautifully sings the entire song. Everyoneapplauds, including Alexander. Brayden hands the banjo backto the old man and approaches Alexander and theatricallybows.

BRAYDEN (CONTD)(smiling)

Well, thats what I do. Did youlike it?

ALEXANDEROf course. Howd you learn?

BRAYDEN(beat)

... Just picked it up here andthere.

ALEXANDERYoure very good.

Everyone starts leaving, making their way back to theirhuts. The people of Liberty start packing their horses,

readying to leave.

BRAYDENDo you have to go?

Alexander turns to see everyone, including Maxwell leaving.

ALEXANDERYeah, looks that way. Ill seeyah Thanks for the song.

They shake hands as Brayden struggles to let go.

BRAYDENYeah, anytime.

Alexander turns and walks toward his horse while Braydenwatches him leave.

14 INT. MAXWELLS HUT, KITCHEN - NIGHT

Maxwell sits at an old wooden table reading from the Bible.Alexander enters the kitchen and sits across from Maxwell,looking unhappy.

MAXWELL(sighs)You always look down, Xander.

ALEXANDERJust tired.

Maxwell closes the Bible.

MAXWELL(beat)

Maybe the new election will changethings?

Alexander lays his head down.

ALEXANDER(beat)

Just tired of the fighting.

MAXWELL(beat)

Youre doing Gods work out there,Alexander.

Alexander laughs in amazement.

ALEXANDERIm glad you see it that way.

MAXWELLSomeone has to stand up to them.Dont you see that?


With every battle... I feel...different.

Maxwell slides the Bible toward Alexander. Alexander gets upfrom the table.

MAXWELLHelps when Im down.

Alexander walks away.

15 EXT. TOWN OF REFORGE - EVENING

Luke Darion enters the town of Reforge on horseback, alongwith around 100 men. Charlie, while cleaning his horse isthe only person to see them enter and approaches, alarmed.

CHARLIE(to Luke)

Can I help you?

Luke gets off his horse and approaches Charlie. Some of thetowns people gather around, worried. Susanna comes to herhusbands side.

LUKE DARION(to the crowd)

Im Luke Darion, head of the TexasCivilian Police Force. There was aman here, yesterday. Give him andthat town up and your town will besaved.

The townsfolk exchange looks of fear.

CHARLIEWe dont know what youre talkingabout. Are you sure you have theright town?

Luke backhands Charlie across the face. Susanna tries tocome to her husbands aid.

SUSANNA(to Luke)

Sir, please! We dont know whatyoure talking about!

LUKE DARIONIve got 10 cowards saying they sawand fought Alexander of Libertyhere! Now give them up!

Nobody says anything.

16 EXT - ROAD LEADING TO REFORGE - MORNING

Alexander rides alone on horseback. He notices smokebillowing on the horizon. He looks alarmed and kicks thehorse..

JUST OUTSIDE REFORGE

Alexander is stunned to see the town completely burned.

IN THE TOWN

Numerous dead bodies lay everywhere. Alexander jumps off thehorse and looks around for any survivors.

He comes to two bodies with faces he recognizes. Braydensparents, Susanna and Charlie lay lifeless.

ALEXANDER(to himself)

Oh no.

Alexander begins running through the town looking for signsof life.

END OF TOWN

As he nears the end of town he hears something from theforest and enters it to see Brayden tied up and being beatenon the ground by one Civilian Police Force member, while 2more stand and watch. Their drunk laughter cacklesthroughout the woods.

Alexander unties Brayden. Brayden jumps up and runs to thebodies of his mother and father as Alexander follows.

Braydens face fills with grief as he hugs his motherslifeless body and sobs. Alexander pulls him away, but

Brayden tries to push past. Alexander doesnt let him go andinstead, spins around and awkwardly embraces Brayden tryingto console him.

Alexander places his hand on Braydens head as Brayden sobson his shoulder.

Brayden painfully wakes up and puts his hands to his facegrimacing because of the cuts and bruises. He sits up enoughto notice Alexander sleeping next to him. Alexander, laying

The Tavern is busy. A large table seats about 10 CPFmembers, drinking beer and laughing.

The door opens as Ziyad walks in with his head held down. Hepositions himself at the bar facing the CPF. After a fewseconds the bar becomes very quiet as one of the CPF agentsstand up looking straight at Ziyad and the mark on his face.

Ziyad walks fast toward the door and exits as the entire CPFfollows him.

Ziyad continues to walk fast away from the Tavern as the CPFmen are right behind him.

You there! Stop!

From the sides and behind the CPF come Libertys finest.Alexander and Maxwell close in on the sides, Tyler, Aishaand Misha from behind. All with swords drawn, making the CPFfreeze in its spot.

MAXWELL(to Ziyad)

Good job.

One of the CPF agents tries to pull out his sword - Maxwellis forced to take him out with two sword swipes as the man

falls to the ground.

MAXWELL (CONTD)(to the CPF)

Dont move and nobody else willdie!

41 EXT. OUTSIDE LOCAL CIVILIAN POLICE FORCE - MORNING

The sun is just rising. Just outside the Civilian PoliceForce building is a wagon with the 9 CPF agents tied upsitting in it. Routine citizens stroll on by, laughing at

the CPF men who are gagged and marked.

Luke Darion arrives on horseback and notices the men. Hisface tightens as he gets off the horse and approaches themen. He grabs one of their faces and turns it to see theletter T on his face. Everyone of them, marked with theletter T.

A crowd has developed to see the spectacle. The crowdgiggles and murmurs.

LUKE DARION(to the crowd)

Shut up!

They quiet down. Luke notices a note stuck under a knife onthe wagon. He takes the note and reads it.

A cloudless night with the Moon shining brightly on Liberty.Alexander stands in the tower surveying the horizon with apair of binoculars.

SAMUELI dont want her around your evil.

Tylers face becomes twitching with anger as he goes toattack Samuel. The men of Liberty intervene and separate

MAXWELL(yelling)

Samuel struggles with Maxwell and focuses his anger onAlexander.

SAMUEL(to Alexander)

This further enrages Tyler as he tries to go after Samuelagain.

A large group of about 15 army vehicles stop in front of thebuilding. In the first vehicle, out steps JAMES HARRIS(50S) who Surveys the town. Luke comes out to welcomeHarris and his men. Hundreds of troops dressed in greenfatigues exit their vehicles as Luke and James shake hands.

LUKE DARION(to James)

James, welcome to Texas.

James is very old, hunched over and means business.

JAMES HARRIS(grunts)

I wish I had time for chit chat butlooks like youve got quite aproblem on yer hands. With this,ah... Liberty, is it?

Samuel and Aisha are having a heated conversation, face toface.

Tyler runs from the house and darts toward the Forest.Jennifer appears in the doorway wondering why he left insuch a hurry.

Samuel has her pinned on the ground, licking and forcefullykissing her face. Shes crying and struggling to get loose.She now has marks on her face.

TYLER IN THE FOREST

Tyler is now in the forest, running in circles trying tofind Aisha. He kneels to the ground in pain.

Samuel stands over Aishas lifeless body. He has blood onhis hands.

Samuel eventually reaches for and grabs arock and as he goes to swing the tip of a sword is placed tothe side of his head.

BRAYDEN (O.S.)Stop..

Brayden stands with sword outstreteched. Samuel, with hiseyes wide, stops in his tracks. He drops the rock. Aisha iscrying as Tyler runs to her and consoles her. Brayden keepsthe gun on Samuel.

Get her out of here. Go getsomeone.

Tyler picks up Aisha and carries her out of the forest.

Samuel sits, tied to a post looking defeated.

Tyler paces outside, waiting for word. Misha comes out withher arms folded and approaches Tyler. Tyler expects theworst but is shocked when Misha unfolds her arms and hugsTyler, crying.

She stands back giving him a clear path to the front door.

MISHA (CONTD)Go. She needs you now.

Tyler runs in the house.

Aisha is in bed crying. Tyler kneels down beside her andputs his arm around her. She looks him in the eyes with aburning question.

She forces a very faint grin.

Theres a crowd in the courtyard. Maxwell stands and talkswith the crowd while Brayden stands alone and away from thegroup. Alexander approaches.

An intense look fills Lukes face as he slowly ridesforward.

LUKE DARIONYes, I am.

James is perplexed.

JAMES HARRISWhat the hell you doin?

Luke slowly turns his horse around to James.

LUKE DARION(grins)

Im siding with the terrorists.

Before James knows what to say, Luke rides as fast as he canto the the gates of Liberty.

69 EXT. LIBERTY WATCH TOWER - SAME

Tyler up in the tower sees Luke riding for Liberty. With asmile on his face he yells

TYLEROpen the gates, let him in!

70 EXT. LIBERTY GATES - SAME

The gates open as Tyler runs down the watch towerladder. The gates quickly close as Luke gets off the horseand is greeted by Maxwell and Tyler.

MAXWELLLuke, what in the hell are youdoin?

Luke smiles brightly at Maxwell and offers his hand.

LUKE DARIONI decided to come to fightalongside my friends.

Luke notices Tyler approaching.

LUKE DARIONAnd my.. son.

71 EXT. OUTSIDE LIBERTY GATES - LATER

About 20 men of the Military drive the large battering ramagainst the gates of Liberty. The doors fall inward,swinging open and to the ground.

72 EXT. ELECTION LINE - EVENING

A line of people which goes for miles. Some of the peoplein the line carry signs that say, "Aiden For Freedom". Somecarry tattered U.S. flags, others with the Tree Of Libertyflag. The people excited as they wait to vote.

73 EXT. ELECTION BOOTH - SAME

A man checks the box next to Aiden on a very basic ballotand stuffs it in a box. 5 CPF agents sit behind the tableas thousands of people in line wait to vote.

74 EXT. LIBERTY COURTYARD - SAME

About 50 people of Liberty charge the oncomingsoldiers. Maxwell and Alexander sling about, taking soliderafter soldier down.

Tyler is on foot, hanging toward the back picking soldiersoff with his bow and arrow.

Aisha, Ziyad and Misha flash about with knives and variousmartial arts.

Luke joins with Maxwell and Alexander and begins slayingsoldier after soldier. Blood is quickly gathering on theirbody and faces.

The two sides battle with various swords, knives andmaces. Random fighters of Liberty begin to fall.

Alexander, while in combat notices through the fallenLiberty gates some fiery lights on the horizon. He is ableto get a good enough look to see that its another militiacoming to their aide. A look of hope and excitement floods

his face.

As Alexander stares, from behind him we see Samuel dressedin the Military uniform. Samuel swings a big mace, hittingAlexander in the back of the head. Alexander falls to theground. As Alexander lays on the ground unconscious, Samuelraises the mace and prepares for the final blow.

A sword pierces through Samuels stomach as his eyes fillwith terror and he slips to the ground, dead. Ziyadstanding behind him, pulls his sword out and kneels down toAlexander.

75 OUTSIDE LIBERTY

The militia floods toward Liberty and engages the Militaryvery quickly. Some of the people of Liberty cheer. Theremaining Military try to retreat, but they only run intomore militia and are taken down quickly.

76 INSIDE LIBERTY

Aisha, Maxwell, Tyler, Luke, Misha are exhausted andbloodied as they stand in shock that theyve won.

Ziyad picks up Alexander and carries him toMaxwell. Maxwell drops his weapon immediately and grabs hissons lifeless body and carries him inside Maxwells hut.

77 EXT. AIDEN CAMPAIGN EVENT - NIGHT

Two black shoes on a stage as a crowd booms in loud clappingand cheers. William Aiden takes to the podiom topandimoniom as confetti falls.

78 INT. MAXWELLS HUT - NIGHT

Alexander lay in bed, unconscience. Grief stricken silencefills the room as much of Liberty stands around Alexander inshock. Closest to Alexander are Maxwell to his right,Brayden to Alexanders left and Tyler to his right. Aisha iscrying behind Tyler. Jennifer checks Alexanders pulse andwound.

JENNIFERI dont think itll be long..

Alexanders breathing is slow and deep. Brayden has his headleaning against Alexanders crying. Brayden kissesAlexander on the cheek. Jennifer places a hand on Braydensshoulder. Maxwell takes his dying sons hand as tears floodhis steely eyes. He wipes them away and looks up to the sky.

79 MAXWELL/ALEXANDER MONTAGE

Maxwell picks up baby Alexander as Alexandergiggles. Maxwell washes baby Alexander. Maxwell trainsyounger Alexander with a sword.

80 END MONTAGE

MAXWELL(toward God)

Why now?

Tyler, fighting back tears, places his hand on Alexandershand, closes his eyes and looks down.

TYLERYou can go my (breaking) fr-friend.

Tyler breaks down as Aisha consoles him. The room watches

Alexander, waiting. Finally Alexander takes a long, deepbreath and is gone. Jennifer checks his pulse, her faceconfirming what they already know.

JENNIFER(whispers)

Hes gone.

Brayden jumps up and runs out of the hut. Jennifer followsafter him.

81 OUTSIDE THE HUT - CONTINUOUS

Bodies are still strewn on the ground. Jennifer catches upwith Brayden and forces him to hug her.

JENNIFER(whispers)

Im so sorry.

Brayden sobs in her arms.

82 INT. POLITICAL CAMPAIGN RALLY - NIGHT

William Aiden now begins his speech as the crowd is damnnear impossible to tame.

WILLIAM AIDENMy friends.. Tonight.. The mostextreme thing hashappened. America has decided togive freedom a chance again!

The crowd explodes in cheering and applause.

83 EXT. LIBERTY - MORNING

People are gathering up bodies and loading them into the

back of a wagon. Jennifer stands out in the courtyardwatching them. She turns toward the destroyed gates ofLiberty to see a group of about 5 black vehicles pullinginto Liberty.

She quickly walks up to the car and stops, waiting to seewho it is. The doors open and William steps out of the backof the first car. They make eye contact as she runs to himand they embrace.

WILLIAM AIDENWhat happened?

Jennifer begins to cry.

JENNIFERThey tried to destroy Liberty, butsomehow we made it.. Im afraid wewe lost Alexander.

William looks like hes been punched in the gut.

WILLIAM AIDENIm sorry. Hows your son?

JENNIFER

Hes good. Thank God.

Tyler and Aisha come up to Jennifer and William. Aisha withher arms around Tylers body.

WILLIAM AIDENJennifer, I dont have a lot oftime. Now that weve won.. I waswondering if youd come with me?

JENNIFEROf course, but.. what about Tyler?

William notices how close Aisha and Tyler are.

84 EXT. LIBERTY LAKE SHORE - MORNING

Fog lifts off the lake as Brayden sits in a tent, inmourning. His eyes are gray and hes downcast. The soundof someone approaching causes him to exit the tent. Braydenand Maxwell make eye contact.

BRAYDENI cant believe hes gone.

MAXWELL(beat)

Yes, I know.

An awkward moment of silence passes.
