How do I find books in the Library?

When you find an item in the catalog, write down the call number.

This call number works like a street address: it tells you where on the shelves to find the book.

We use the Dewey Decimal System, so the books are in numerical order on the shelves.

What’s the Dewey Decimal System?

It’s a classification system that helps to bring order to the library collection.

The Dewey Decimal System organizes knowledge into general categories.

Each category is assigned a range of numbers. For example, Literature can be found from 800-899.
