Storytime is a program aimed at children from birth to 5. Sessions are held

weekly in Warwick and Stanthorpe libraries, and several times a year in the

    Allora library.

If you would like to attend a Storytime session, come along to the Warwick

library at 10.30 on Thursday mornings, or the Stanthorpe library at 10.30on Tuesday mornings. Sessions held at Allora will be advertised within the

library branch and on our Facebook page.

Of course there is still lots to come! Easter and the school holidays are not

far away, and we still have Library and Information Week, Book Week & Na-

tional Simultaneous Storytime to look forward to.

During the school holidays the Warwick and Stanthorpe branches will have

treasure hunts and activities for children. Contact your local branch or

check out our Facebook page for details.

This temporary installation is a combination of a tree house and a library

and was set up in Londons Regents Park. It was created by an art collabo-

rative as a catalyst to ignite the collective imagination, encouraging adults

and children alike to explore a variety of creative responses to nature.

A list of Janet Evanovich books held by the library can be found on ourcatalogue.

Janet Evanovich is the author of the best selling Stephanie Plum novels. She

started writing romance novels under the pen name Steffie Hall. After writing12 romances she moved into the mystery/comedy genre with One for the

Moneyfeaturing bounty hunter Stephanie Plum. The latest in the series, Top

Secret Twenty-Oneis due to be released in June. The Between the Numbers

novels are a spin-off featuring Diesel from the Plum series. Janet has been

quoted saying I wouldnt go so far to say Stephanie is an autobiographic

character but I will admit to knowing where she lives.

The library has a large range of magazines for loan, both in branch and

online. These magazines cover a large range of interests and age groups.

A two week loan period applies to our printed magazines, and provided there

are no reservations on the item, they can be renewed up to two times.

If there is a particular magazine which you enjoy, you can contact your local

branch to find out whether we hold that title.

If you would prefer a digital magazine, the library now subscribes to Zinio for

libraries. To see which magazines are available through our Zinio account,

you can click this link https://www.rbdigital.com/southerndowns/service/

zinio/landing? . You can also find this link on our online catalogue on the

top right-hand side, or on the library page under facilities on the Southern

Downs council website. Once you are on the Zinio page there are two links, one to log in, and one to create an account. To create a library Zinio account

you will need to enter your library barcode and your details. Once you have

created an account and have logged in, simply click on the magazine you

    wish to borrow.

Digital magazines may be viewed online, or

you can download a Zinio viewer from their

website for your device. Once you have bor-

rowed a magazine it then stays on your
