There are organisations in and around research and teaching programs that seem to belong to ETH Zurich but may have a different legal status.

Example ASVZ:Independent association that is legally a part of ETH Zurich and UniZurich but the staff is not employed at ETH Zurich.

Question: May ASVZ staff use ETH‘s «MS Office» licenses?

There were cases of misuse. Often cases of misuse are discovered by the licensor. Misuse cases that are brought to our attention will be investigated.

Cooperation between decentral organizations, IT Services and SGU is essential.
