The VS Light Controller works with the international DALI standard for lighting that makes it possible to

connect DALI-compatible operating devices made by different manufacturers.

Up to 64 DALI operating devices can be combined individually in up to 16 groups. 16 different scenes

can be stored in each DALI operating device.

The VS Light Controller is designed for DIN rail mounting within a junction box.

The Light Controller features a display panel and rotary push-button to enable user-friendly system

configuration directly at the Light Controller unit.

Six individually configurable push-buttons can be connected to the Light Controller. (Parallel operation possible)

Push-button modes

(1 individual address, 1 group or all

connected DALI devices together):

• Push function

(short press: on/off | long press: dim up/down)

• On/Off function

• Scene activator (only L/LW)

• Timer function (10 sec up to 90 min.)

• Dim up/down

VS MultiSensors can be connected via the DALI bus.

The VS MultiSensor contents:

Light sensor:

Freely adjustable constant lighting levels.

Movement sensor: with 2 different modes:

System switches on/off automatically if movement is detected (or not).

System switches off if no movement is detected.

In both modes: Switch off time from 10 sec up to 90 min.

The transmitters can be configured via the Light Controller LW with the same functions as

the standard push-buttons: push function, on/off, scene activator, timer function

EnOcean Modules can be integrated into the system. Also EnOcean suitable touch panels.

Same functionality, as wired push-button.

A so-called "Wireless Repeater" can be added to the system to increase the range between wireless

transmitter and the LW Light Controller. Without having to be configured, the repeater merely needs to

be activated in either one- or two-level mode.

After addressing the extender on the primary DALI line, on the secondary side (DALI output) it is now possible to

connect additional 64 DALI control devices which are working as 1 group. Extend the DALI-Bus restrictions to

another 300m.
