• 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Satan’s Lie• The Bible is old and not for today• The Bible is not relevant to today’s world• The Bible has changed over time• The Bible constantly contradicts itself• The Bible is open to any interpretation• The Bible has so many versions• The Bible is not scientific• The Bible prophesies were written
afterward• The Bible is just a story/mystical book• The Bible is just a moral teaching book<It is not totally correct and it is not the truth>
The Fact about the Bible• Written by 40+ authors with 66 books• Over a period of about 1600+ years• In 3 languages and in 3 continents• It is the most printed book in the world

Christians around the world regularly• Many today’s churches regard the Bible
as the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (e.g. GCCC statement of faith)
The Truth about the Bible
• It Is Scientifically Accurate
• It Is Archaeologically Accurate
• It Is Textually Accurate
Scientifically Accurate• God creates and Science discovers
• God sets up the laws of Science and He makes sure his Word does not contradict the laws
• Many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally
• The Bible wasn’t meant to be a scientific textbook
• The Bible doesn’t use scientific language
• But the Bible never gives bad science!
Scientifically Accurate• Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22)
• Almost infinite extent of the universe (Isaiah 55:9)
• Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7)
