Project OverviewProject Overview

This project is about YOU and what it will take to live on your own. This may occur as soon as next year or a few years from now. Your assignment is to choose an occupation, discover what education you need to enter that field, and find out what your cost of living will be during and after high school. To demonstrate what it will take to live within your means, you will be required to keep a balanced monthly checkbook during this project. You must have proof of all of your discoveries.(research). You can research all of this information on the internet, newspapers, books, relatives, and friends. All of this information will be kept in a portfolio (3 ring binder)to be turned in at the end of the unit. Your portfolio WILL contain all of the following:
