Life of the mill wear parts, in hours of operation, for the entire range of coal characteristics specified shall be demonstrated and in any case shall not be less than 8000 hrs. Mill wear parts shall be arranged so as to facilitate easy replacement without total dismantling of mills. All components must be carried out with hoists during maintenance. The mill shall be designed to facilitate ease of handling of heavy parts for maintenance purpose.
