Children’s reaction.

From the first moment they see me they are so excited and in the same time so ashamed that they are adorable.

Even the naughtiest child starts to think at what he has done and wants to impress me to give him his presents.

The most beautiful thing is when I come back the next year and I ask him if he accomplished his promises made an year before.

I can hardly restrain myself not to laugh when I see them trying to “dissimulate” their naughty things they done.

What do I like best when I make Santa Claus?

The first reactions of the parents that confuse the apparition of Santa Claus with an usual animation and they ask me to stay longer.

In my opinion the apparition of Santa Claus has to by like a top, something magical, that has a specific purpose.

The longer you stay the more magic is lost. It’s true that in the end the parents agree with me.

What you don’t like when you make Santa Claus?

Why did you started to do this kind of business?

In the beginning it was for the money.

But with the years, this aspect of the business took the second place.

Now I invest in the costume for the next year at least half of what I earn in the Christmas night, because there is no better recompression that the happiness that you can see in the children’s yeas.

And I say it with all my heart.

What is the most complicated thing in this business?

This year I will go for the third time to a child, Mihnea, who just turned 8 years old.

If three years ago he had no doubt that I am Santa Claus, I hope that this year it will be the same.

Fortunately I have never been pulled by the beard and tolled that: “You are not the REAL Santa Claus”.

My figure condition helps me a lot.

During the Holly Days does anybody help you for a good performance (driver, elf or some other kind of help)?

Usually I have somebody that helps me because I have to go to many kids and in a lot of places and this helps me a lot.

The drivers are the children’s parents that take me from a job to the other.

Santa’s helpers I have only if some jobs require it and make my job easier.

This way yes!

- Believe in what you do

- Invest as much as you can in your Santa costume because it will worth it

- Use American stereotypes because they work (HO, HO, HO…)

- Be prepared for everything – children’s have an enormous imagination, and when you put them face-to-face with the Great Santa Claus can appear sparkles.

- Better less and good, when more and bad

This way no!

- Don’t think that everybody around you must accept anything from you

- Even if you are tired you can’t let that to be seen

- Don’t cross the line between good words and shame words. The time spent with Santa must be magic not traumatic

- Don’t forget about the bag. It’s the most important thing and must not remain empty, even if you finished leaving all the presents to all the children

- Let the door open for the next year. If you do your job well you have assured at least one contract for the next year.
