Conor MaynardIf you haven’t already heard of Conor Maynard, where have you been? Not on YouTube that’s for sure. But not to worry this amazingly talented, charming young man only found fame this year. But in a few short months he has collaborated with some of music’s hottest producers. AND had stars like Ne-Yo and Pharrell race to sign him to launch is career on their side of the pond. Conor will be no mere flash in the pan, he’s around to stay.

Firstly congrats on winning MTV’s new for 2012, with half the votes no less! How does that feel?Thank you! It feels amazing. I think just being in the top 10 for MTV's Brand New was enough of an honour, but to go ahead and win literally felt incredible.

You have shot to the world stage so fast, how do you keep your feet on the ground?I think being surrounded by my family and friends that still treat me like the same idiot I was before all this has! They see me as just Conor, not Conor Maynard, and I’m really thankful for that!

How does it feel being compared to Justin Bieber?I think comparisons are just something every artist gets when it’s early in their career as people want to try and guess who they're trying to be like so that others will understand the music. I think it's just better to allow people to hear the music themselves and make their own opinions!

How old were you when you first started to sing?I've always been singing, however I didn't really start to take it seriously until about the age of 15! It was then when I started posting my first covers to YouTube.

When Ne-Yo first got in touch with you, is it true that you didn’t believe it was really him, and that you asked him to prove it?Yep. His manager first contacted me and I honestly thought it was my mates putting on an American accent! When he started talking about flying me out to America and stuff I was like "ok I’m definitely going to need some proof now…".

With mega stars like Ne-Yo and Pharrell scrambling to meet you and sign you, how do you handle that? Do you ever get star struck?I'm usually quite good at keeping it together in front of big artists. I usually think to myself that I'm an artist too, and I want them to respect me as their equal not some crazy fan. So I wait until they've left the room before I break down in tears!

Who would be your favourite artist to work with right now?Probably Drake or John Mayer, I love the way they write!

Your debut album “Contrast” comes out July 30th, are there any particular tracks on your album that you are especially proud of?Hmmmm. If I'm completely honest, I have put nothing on the album that I'm not proud of. I've worked extremely hard over the last 2 years making sure this album is at the highest quality I can possible make it.

I know you have been to Liverpool recently, the fans went crazy! Did you get a chance to go out and enjoy the city at all? Where did you go?Well I was only there for one night, and it was actually the craziest fan experience I've had so far! The fans broke into the car park of the radio station I was at, then they got kicked out, waited for the car to come out of the car park, then chased the car back to the hotel, and waited outside all night… only for a picture!!!! Madness!

by Joy Lewis

MUSIC

REVIEWS of ‘CONTRAST’

“[With] razor-sharp and achingly ‘now’ production... it’s a confident strut of a debut” – NME “Sparkling... ultra-pop, super-slick confections” – Q “If you want to know what the future of pop looks like, take a peek at Conor Maynard” – Daily Telegraph “Standing out with an unforeseen dose of cool”, CD of the Week – The Observer “An early contender for British urban album of the year” – Grazia “Promises to set a new precedent for UK R&B – and has the potential to seriously compete on a global scale” – Music Week “Report to the dancefloor for a sci-fi disco whirlwind. Unlike other singer-songwriters, he’s got the funk” – Daily Star

Conor Maynard’s debut album “Can’t Say No” shot straight to the top of the album charts last month.

How does it feel to play an animated character in TRON: Uprising? It feels really cool! My character is a guy called Beck and I think he’s awesome. It’s fun to play someone so heroic.

How would you describe Beck?In the beginning, Beck is a pretty average individual. He’s a great mechanic, but that’s about it – until he decides to become a rebellious renegade!

Where does Tron fit into the story?Tron is a character who is a mentor to Beck. He’s a teacher and a guide in Beck’s evolution. He wants to teach Beck to become a hero – but it’s not as easy as you might expect. Sometimes Beck gets it wrong and he’s not always successful.

How much do you enjoy voiceover work?Voiceover work is fun! I’m no stranger to doing voice

Hollywood A-lister ELIJAH WOOD currently stars in Disney XD series, TRON: Uprising.

work for animations, so I’m used to it now – but it’s always interesting to imagine these crazy worlds inside your head. My character in TRON: Uprising is a lot of fun to play because he’s very active. I don’t just stand there in front of the microphone; I get physical and jump about. I’ll punch and kick the air.

Do you act out your scenes in the recording booth? It helps to move around when you have to make the noises from the scenes where your character is being physical. They video record you in the sound booth, too – so I’m sure there’s some crazy footage of me looking like an idiot as I act out the scenes. I’m sure it’s pretty hilarious!

Did you have a tough time imagining the futuristic world of TRON inside your head?It takes a while to get into character when you step into the sound booth because this world is very different to the world we live in. However, all of these concept pictures and drawings really help you get into the zone. I’d close my eyes and immerse myself in the world. That helped a lot.

Are you in the sound booth alone, or do you have other actors in there with you? Most of the time I was alone in the sound booth, but I did work with some of the actors for a couple of the sessions. I worked with Mandy Moore [who plays Mia in the show] a couple of times, as well as Emmanuelle Chriqui [who plays Paige]. It makes a huge difference when you’re in there with somebody else because you’ve got someone to interact with.

Why don’t you work with the other actors very often? It’s very common to work alone when you are a voice in an animation. You don’t often get a chance to record with the other actors who are playing the characters, mainly due to the fact that you don’t have to. They just slot all the voices together on a computer. Plus, the actors’ schedules are all over the place and it’s difficult to get everyone in the same room at the same time.

Spill the beans, Elijah… Are you hoping they create a Beck toy action figure? They haven’t made one yet, but I hope they do. That would be really cool. Yes please!

What do you like the most about your exciting new show?I love everything about TRON: Uprising. The storytelling is really good. The writing is amazing. I’m really impressed by how true we stick to the world of TRON. Oh, and I love its animation style.

How would you describe the animation style? The animation style is very cinematic. It’s awesome. In fact, it’s exceeded all of my expectations. Seeing the show play out is so beautiful. It’s such a unique look – and I love how angular the characters are. There’s something really special about the way it’s all been designed.

What else has impressed you about the show? The music is also amazing! Daft Punk created the music in TRON: Legacy and we’ve got a very similar sound in TRON: Uprising. I love that. Oh, it’s really exciting to be part of something so fantastic! I’m really excited for people to see it – and I can’t wait to see more of it myself. I’ve seen little pieces here and there, but I’m really looking forward to sitting down and watching all of them on TV. I can’t wait!

Why did you set up Cheesecake Charlie?Cheesecake Charlie was started out of a love of baked Cheesecakes and seeing a gap in the market to offer baked Cheesecakes delivered in a unique way.

Tell us about the company?Having had a successful few months with Farmers Markets and being asked to attend some ‘Special Events’, the business is now starting to expand, supplying wholesale across Merseyside and the North West. These are very exciting developments and opportunities up ahead.

What is your favourite cheesecake? That’s not an easy question to answer, with over 40 different flavours to choose from and quite a few more in development, there is not one that I would call a ‘favourite’ … However that said, you can’t beat the Classic New York … Creamy, slightly lemony with a hint of vanilla in the base … In my world thats a little bit of heaven...

What makes them so special?Well it has to be a combination of things. Firstly their size (as we all know, size is important), secondly the quality of the ingredients (took me 4 months and over 12 types of cream cheese before finding just that right one) and thirdly the TLC that goes into each and everyone.

How do you keep thinking up new recipes? Inspiration for new flavours is limited only by imagination. But really when it comes to finding new flavours you have to start somewhere, so feedback from customers and lots of reading is an excellent place to start. So being creative, taking a gamble and lots of trial and error...

What’s the best compliment you have been given? That has to be all the sounds and noises that people are making when they are tasting samples. Oh and the some of the facial expressions are simply priceless..

What’s the most unusual ingredient that people wouldn’t expect in your cheesecake?Well at the moment, it might be wasabi in the Orange & Wasabi Cheesecakes. It adds a nice warming kick to the sweetness of the Orange. But it could also be tarragon in the Strawberry, Vanilla and Tarragon Cheesecake. There is also one i’m working on at the moment, its more of a savoury cheesecake I guess.....It may not even make it out of development, will have to see.

Your top 3 favourites?1) Classic New York 2) Chocolate & Chilli 3) Lemon & Thyme

MARITIME DINING ROOMS

Waaaaaowzaa, Situated on the 4th floor of this fantastic Maritime Museum, The Maritime Dining

Rooms have a view over the Albert Dock that is to behold – overlooking the very dock where Fred the Weather Man used to do his daily forecast. The decor is the Traditional exposed Red Brick, with the Walls featuring some great historical Black and White prints. The menu offers a range of Traditional Wraps, Salads including a Classic Ploughman's, Caesar and for the Veggies, Cured Plumb Tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella served with Rocket leaves and Balsamic Dressing. There's also a kids menu which was handy as today my dining partner was Nancy my 5 year old terror. Pizza, Soup and a Sandwich Nancy went for the good old Maritime and Great British favourite Fish and Chips. I went for a Smoked Chicken Terrine to start, made up of flakes smoked chicken spring onions and carrot, served with a fresh peppery Watercress and radish salad. For my main course I opted for the Salmon Fish cakes with a pea puree and Tartar sauce. I also ordered a portion of new potatoes to accompany the dish which just made it perfect. There are 2 set menu’s - £9.95 for 2 Courses and £12.95 for 3 Courses. Very reasonably priced when you consider admission to the Museum is completely free.If you were really hungry you could always go for the Maritime Mixed Grill, Char grilled Chicken breast, Grilled Gammon, Minute Steak, Minted Lamb sausage, grilled tomato and Onion Rings. Enough to warm the cockles of any weary sailor or tourist. After devouring her fish and chips with peas, Nancy had a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream from the kids menu. The empty plate said it all.I went for the Chocolate Tart infused with Hazelnuts and served with a Bailey's Ice cream - totally Delicious. Why not have a great free day out, then top it all off with a bite to eat at The Maritime Dining Rooms. If you don’t fancy having a meal, they also offer a great range of afternoon teas and appetizers. Mouth-watering cakes to satisfy any craving.

Ps: If you can, book a window seat as the Views really are superb!

With being a make up artist, I love it when I hear about new make up and make up collaborations, so I was extremely excited when I heard about the new Dita Von Teese Classics Collection make up range by Artdeco.

Dita Von Teese is renowned for her porcelain complexion, seductive red lips and glamorous bedroom eyes. Dita is the modern face of retro Hollywood glamour and her look is very much an art form as she oozes seduction and elegance and now with her new timeless collection she shares the look with us all.

Within the range is everything you need to recreate glamour and chic, the new Dita Von Teese Classics collection has a range of eye shadows, translucent powder, mascara, gel eye liner, lipstick, eye lashes, blusher, lip liner and even nail varnish to complete the look.

So as a vintage fan I just had to try out some of the collection for myself; I went for classic ‘barely there’ make up on the eyes using eye shadows Petticoat all over my eyelid, followed with Mink in the outer corner for definition and Spotlight as highlighter on the brow bone and completed the eyes with a very vintage flick using gel eye liner Nocturnelle and lots of black mascara.

I achieved the alabaster complexion using high definition foundation set with Fatale translucent face powder and highlighted my cheek bones with Nigenue - a slight pink blush - and of course completed the look with luscious, provocative red lips using my favourite Maitresse red lipstick, outlined with lip liner Dane. Voila! The classic vintage look was completed.

Having been so impressed with the products I have been sporting the vintage look a lot more often and think I may have found my own signature look via the fabulous Dita Von Teese Classics Collection - so yes a little bit of Dita happens to be right up my street!

My two favourite products have to be Maitresse red lipstick and Nocturnelle gel eye liner; not only do I have them in my personal make up bag but they are in my working make up kit too.

The New Dita Von Teese Classics Collection is available form all Artdeco stockists from 20th August 2012

So here we are heading rapidly towards autumn and of course Liverpool Fashion Week, so with that in mind

here's a quick look that gives a nod towards those A/W 2012 trends.Firstly foundation keep it matte and light (I used Airbase foundation and primer). For the blusher keep it soft and structured, for this look I used MAC's Dollymix blush, and blended Benefit's Moonbeam to keep it light across the top of the cheekbones.Next the eyes and make sure you use an eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay's is my fave) then take a neutral colour, such as Urban Decay's Sellout, across the lid followed by a soft plum/purple (Last Call & Bordello were used here). Next take a darker colour (Rockstar is good for this) and go along the crease of your eye & along upper lash line. Now BLEND, this will get that soft but strong look, and finally line upper lash line with MAC's fluidline in Macroviolet and the lower with MUA's new gel liner in Tribe for a pop of colour. Finish the eyes with lashings of black volumising mascara though for this look I used some amazing lashes from Eldora and remember is to define those brows as this look definitely needs it. And to complete the overall look, lipstick. Here I used Topshop's Lipmarker in Popsicle to get that fabulous pink colour.

VOODOU’S NEW ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM A HUGE HIT WITH CLIENTS

Liverpool’s locally owned salon chain Voodou, have recentlylaunched a brand new service that has made

themselves more accessible to clients – online bookings. Voodou re-launched its website two months ago with a new design and online bookings feature. “It’s something our clients have really appreciated”, says Managing Director Rob Webb “the ability to book themselves in for an appointment whilst at work or after reception closing times has made Voodou completely accessible to our clients”. Gemma Ray, a working mum from Melling and client of Voodou’s, started using the new service the day it was launched. “Working full time and having a toddler meant I was always forgetting to call and book in for my regular Voodou appointments (and didn’t my split ends and dark roots know it!). Booking online is brilliant. Whether it’s 10am or 10pm, I can get online and book an appointment at a convenient time that fits round work and childcare.”The new online system has also been a huge hit within the Voodou salons. Head receptionist Orlaith Murray has seen a positive reaction from both staff and clients. “We were all a little bit unsure of how well the system would work but the result has been brilliant. First thing in the morning is always our busiest time on the phones but now that more and more clients are choosing to book themselves in online, there are less bookings being taken over the phone. This has been great as it means we have more time to spend on customer service with the clients in the salon – the system is working fantastically for everyone.”Voodou who have recently been shortlisted for two

national hairdressing awards will be judged in September on their website, as well as the other social media platforms they use to communicate with their clients. “We are all very proud of the number of fans Voodou hold on Facebook”, says Rob. “We currently stands at over 14,000 likes, which is more than any other salon in the world I’m told. Our next technical step is to launch our brand new mobile phone app which will be ready by the end of the month. The app is a way to keep clients up to date on our latest offers, discounts and services and includes links to our website and Facebook. Now that online bookings are working well for us we’re on to the next thing we can do to improve our client’s service. The app is something we have been thinking about doing for a while and now it’s happening we’re all really excited.”

For this month’s issue Liv Stringer Vintage fashion addict and

blogger (http://filthfashion.tumblr.com/) shares her must have fashion finds and tips with the readers of Lifestyle magazine. My friend recently bought me a pair of high waisted polka dot vintage trousers which I instantly fell in love with. He reluctantly told me about the website he bought them from knowing that I am a shopaholic. Buffalo Vintage is an online pop-up shop that aims to bring you beautiful Vintage finds from all over [email protected]. It was founded by two girls who stumbled into a vintage warehouse in the deep depths of the countryside which is why I love their collection as it is completely one of a kind, hand selected and affordable. For me the website was unique as it combines the two things I love the most, music and Vintage clothing. Mega. I love how you can browse through the clothing while listening to music. Genius. Also, by using people to model the clothing helps you when styling the clothes and to get an idea of the sizes. I loved my trousers as they can be accessible for any occasion, dressing them up or down. As I am going to Ibiza for my summer holiday I thought they would be perfect to

take away with me. Using their style tips for inspiration here I have teamed it with a cute blue cropped top I customized from a dress I bought in Thailand. To complete the look I have put it with some black platform pumps from H & M keeping it casual and practical for a night of dancing (essential). Buffalo Vintage is a Facebook shop, which is connected to ebay where you can purchase their clothing. You can also get in touch through Facebook and they will send to you directly. So watch this space for Buffalo Vintage…

Sometimes when you hear the words “tribute band” you cringe whilst

imagining balding middle aged musicians in the throes of a midlife

crisis. But not the Beatelles, these gals have turned the whole tribute

band game on its head! There are four of them, of course, Steph, Sian,

Cath and Louisa. They don’t try to be a carbon copy with the exact

look and feel of the Beatles, so to simply call them a tribute act

would be an injustice; rather they are a refreshing celebration of the

fab four. They are talented musicians who don’t dress or impersonate

each Beatle, they simply get on stage and perform their hearts out.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Steph, Sian, Cath and Louisa

in Leaf on Bold Street just before they dashed off to play at the

Albert Dock.

How long have you been together?

Steph – We got together late 2007 since then we’ve played all over the U.K and abroad too!

How do people react to you when you first step onto the stage?

Steph - Really well, everybody seems love it when we play, we’ve always had a great response.

Cath - Nobody has the same sound as we do, we play some of the same tunes that other tribute bands might play but we put our own modern twist to every track.

Sian – Some people like to tell us that they didn’t want to like us but they do and some like to point out how surprised they are that they like us. But mostly we get a really good response, which is what counts.

Louisa - The audience likes that

we do our own take on the songs, some of which have now become very popular in their own right. For example we have been known to put a Radiohead baseline in here and there!

So why a Beatles tribute band?

Steph - We do this because we’re passionate about music, the Beatles and performing.

Louisa - We love the Beatles and think they made some of the best music ever written.

Which of the Beatles songs are your favourite to play?

Louisa - We prefer to play the heavier bluesier stuff, many of the tracks from the White Album, but anything we like really.

Cath – We don’t just play the generic

Beatles stuff that everybody else plays although some of that is in there, we like to play the more obscure tracks as well so we stand out for that too.

Sain - We give a track a go and if we can make it ours and it sounds good then we stick with it.

What’s in the future for the Beatelles?

Steph – We would love to have a regular spot somewhere in Liverpool, that is our ultimate goal for the band. We’ve played a lot at the Cavern Club but it wouldn’t have to be there, Matthew Street or the Albert Dock, that would be fantastic!

Louisa – To stay together and to continue to enjoy playing, it’s all about the quality for us and not the money.

Cath – We’re really busy this year. We’re doing a big gig at the Scarborough Spa Hotel on the 15th September, you can buy tickets via our website. We’re also going to Finland and Sweden later this year to play Beatles Festivals, which should be really good.

Cheers girls I’ll look forward to seeing you at Liverpool Fashion Week.

Louisa – Yes we’re really looking forward to it. We’re playing the opening and closing nights, see you there!

Masato originates from Saitama a town just outside of Tokyo originally where he trained and qualified as a hair stylist. After Masato had qualified he left the village for the bright lights of Tokyo where he had a successful career in a well known hair studio. Although a successful hair stylist, the ever-adventurous Masato wanted a new challenge and decided to move to the UK to study English in Brighton.

It was during his time that Masato considered other avenues in which he could express his creativity, other than the hair stylist skills he already retained. After careful consideration and having always had a general interest in fashion, Masato came to the decision that a career in fashion is what he really wanted.

Masato set his sights high and applied for a degree in Women’s Fashion Design at the internationally renowned London based fashion University, Central St Martins University. The course was extremely popular and as such Masato was asked to attend an interview with samples of his work. The interview committee were so impressed with Masato that they immediately offered him a place on the course.

Once qualified Masato went on to secure an internship, followed by permanent employment with Giles Deacon, a British fashion designer best known for working with fashion houses such as Bottega Veneta and Gucci, before founding his own label, GILES, in 2003.

Although Masato was happy to be working for the GILES

label he soon realised that he wanted to create his own label. Masato set up Masato in 2011 with his partner Mike. Working as an independent designer allowed Masato the freedom to put together his own collections and continue working for Giles and other well known designers such as Kinder Agguguni.

Before long, Masato Studio was awarded a project with English National Ballet to design and create three ballet dresses for a promotional campaign. All three dresses were a complete success and formed an essential part of a nationwide advertising campaign for English National Ballet.

Masato was quickly making a name for himself as a designer and dress maker in his own right. Masato was recently asked to show the latest collection at Brighton Fashion Week. The collection received a great deal of press attention and as a result, Masato has been listed by a number of industry insiders as ‘one to watch’.

Masato continues to be invited to show his collections in fashion shows up and down the UK with offers for next year in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Montreal and Berlin. Masato is also following the fashion trend of limited edition Tshirts by designers providing his own individual art with limited runs of 50 to 500 these are becoming quite a collectors item.

Masato are headlining Liverpool Fashion Week, Friday 19 October at the Liverpool Maritime Museum. Book tickets at www.ticketquarter.co.uk

Such a lot has happened since last time, we hosted Access All Eirias at the Eirias stadium

which was a massive success, thousands turned up to see Olly Murs, Pixie Lott, Coverdrive and Diana Vickers in the summer sunshine!

Olly told us a bit about Marvin’s wedding to Rochelle, where he had been that same weekend and didn’t hold back, on how much, he, himself would like to settle down and meet someone lovely….of which there were plenty of offers as you can imagine! One lady had her Mrs Murs knickers on, now I’ve heard about believing in what you want to help you achieve, but, that’s taking it to a whole new level!

Fridays for me, when I was little meant, we got and ate lots of sweets and chocolates when my grandparents came over and we used to perform and songs and dances we had learnt that week but it also means DALLAS, the tv show. I remember my mum loved that programme and the theme tune I can hear it now. So for me hearing Dallas is making a comeback is great news because I am looking forward to it entertain our generation and will definitely be watching the new series as I am hoping to enjoy it as much as my mum did. New and old faces turned up for the launch party including Linda Grey who at 72 looks incredible and new boy the gorgeous Jesse Metcalfe, ok yes that is one of the reasons I will be watching it!!

Been to see funny movie Ted twice in the same week, yes I kind of like it, even though I warn you the teddy is not all sweetness and light! Another one I enjoyed, more so because it is filmed in and around Chester is ‘The Wedding Video’, a rom com, not as glossy as

Cannot believe it is now September (where has the summer gone!)…….At the time of writing this JLS are still holding the crown at the top of the singles chart with their song that I just can’t get out of my head this morning ‘she makes me wanna’ (feat Dev). We actually had the boys on the show last week and managed to get one of their biggest fans from the North West and Wales on, Katie Hodson to ask them some questions, she was absolutely delighted, love her. JLS are busy boys at the mo and are recently confi rmed as one of the acts appearing at the welsh capital’s Millennium stadium for the ‘Michael Forever’ tribute concert, you can register now for tickets (its lotto stylie like the Olympics were), online at michaelforevertribute.com on Oct 8th, this will be broadcast around the world in 2d and 3d in what has been described as a ‘unique celebration of the performer’s work to mark the 40th anniversary of his solo career’. Other acts confi rmed so far are Christina Aquilera, Leona Lewis, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green and JLS including members of the Jackson family. As you can tell I love my boy bands, so was very excited to also hear that The Wanted had such a good time in Chester last month that they decided to come back to the north west. They will be in Liverpool in February next year at the echo arena, tickets on sale now. From a boyband to a man band now-Take That. Saw them in Wembley- amazing. Although if I am honest, no need for all the swearing Robbie… lots of kids were watching. It was a bit like the Robbie show, and a bit of take that! Still fantastic night at Wembley, Michael Mcintyre seemed to enjoy it (he was sat only few seats away from me) ….also bumped into Kelly Brook who was showing of her toned stomach in a cropped top and jeans, I am only envious of her fl at tummy, couldn’t stop staring! I am still working on mine! I have got a six pack, you have aswell…..according to my PT Emily at Hoole Hall we all do, I guess we just have to fi nd it under the fat, or at least I do! Antigua for me is approaching and I am so looking forward to just lying on a beach doing nothing. I tried that new Indian Barton Rouge on the canal next to Harkers in Chester the other night which has its very own champagne bar too! It was good and I loved the rose at the end of the meal too! Gutted to hear that Chicken tikka masala is no longer the UK’S favourite curry it has been replaced by the hotter Jalfrezi…………….i wonder if this is due to the large quantities of green chillis which are said to increase your metabolism therefore aiding weight loss! Yes I know curry’s are not the best for our waistline but when you think its got chillies in, it kinda makes it good for us right?!! Same scenario as us ordering a big mac and fries and oh a diet coke to go with that!!

Big month for movies, still a popular choice is Harry Potter, the fi nal is still at the top of the movie charts ….and not suprising, when you have young girls, (my friend’s daughter who has already seen it six times!). I found it pretty dark, but a fantastic climax to what had has undoubtedly been the most successful movie franchise of all time, well done JK Rowling. Saw Horrible bosses at Cineworld last week, very funny if you want a laugh and if you hate your boss you will defi nitely be able to relate to it! Cowboys and Aliens with Daniel craig and Harrison ford is also a good watch and for the family Cars 2.

Have you heard about this new kitchen gadget which has been

invented? It could make you and I a master in the kitchen, (I need all the help

I can get!). It’s called the SuperChef and has several pre-programmed functions, its described as

the one-pot cooker- your thinking a slow cooker does that I know BUT this is better, apparently you can do a whole roast chicken in this, a pasta dish, steam fi sh and bake a cake!! The superChef can be programmed

up to 24 hours in advance and if you still aren’t ready to tuck in, the gadget automatically switches

to ‘keep warm’ mode when the food is ready. Sounds perfect for me.

At the moment I am loving:Loving the sales- got some awesome bargains ready for my holiday including a cream gorge Ted Baker bag!

Loving the fact that there will be a toy story 4- yes tom hanks will provide the voice of Cowboy woody again, I cannot wait!

Loving the idea that this new bra increases a woman’s bust by three cup sizes- its £22 british designed and called the Triple boost bra…right where can I get one?!

Not Loving:Not Loving the fact that us ladies apparently spend over £100,000 on cosmetics over a lifetime …..just think of how many pairs of shoes and bags we could get with that if we didn’t have to spend it on concealer to hide the bags under the eyes!

Not loving the fact that this welsh lad is a grandad at the age of 29, I am 30 and I don’t have any kids yet, im not in any rush either but if I don’t hurry along il be old enough to be a great grandmother- now that is super scary!

Not loving when in Debehams in the Trafford centre looking to buy Spanx- I pulled out the pair to have a nose only to fi nd out they were an M & S used pair of skanky knickers yes someone had clearly stole a pair and put their old dirty ones back in the box- disgusting…..did I buy them my co-presenter Spence asked- Hell no I went to John Lewis!!

a Hollywood production, but still funny in parts particularly when Raif gets naked in front of a river boat cruise on the River Dee, if it wasn’t for the tattoos you’d think it was Prince Harry! Its good to watch even if it is to say ‘I live near there’ and get all excited!

As wedding is on the brain I managed to catch up and have some wedding chat with the Saturdays star, Una Healy about her wedding to Ben Foden and she told us how much she ‘loved trawling through the internet for ideas!’ which is kind of where I am at right now and hardly getting any sleep, if I was on twitter it would be #over excited!

I am definitely going to see and its out this weekend Keith Lemon’s ‘The Film’ which actually looks quite good featuring Kelly Brook, Holly Willoughby amongst others, where was my role in it?!!!

Keep smiling,Love and hugs Angela xx

Chloe and how ChloBo beganIn 2003, aged 21 Chloe Moss decided to escape the daily grind and set off travelling, inspiration came to Chloe whilst exploring the Indonesian island of Bali. A chance meeting with a woman on a beach, beading intricate silver bracelets was all it took for Chloe to realise she had found her calling. Plans were put in to motion on Chloe’s arrival back in the UK. Silversmith suppliers in Bali were sourced and initial designs were finalised, her jewellery business ChloBo was born.

“The collections are a reflection from my travels, but also insight into my life. My jewellery is personal and each piece can be worn in so many ways to reflect that individual and the occasion. Jewellery to me is more than an accessory; it’s a form of personal expression to experiment.

Where did the idea for founding ChloBO come from?I went travelling when I was 21 and fell in love when I got to Bali. The people, the place everything about it blew me away. I got really inspired and use to sit with the locals and watch them making jewellrey and all sorts of other things.

ChloBO has a number of different jewellers ranges - where do you find the inspirations for them?My main inspirations come from my travels, but I’m always on the look out wherever I go for new ideas. When I’m in London, markets, vintage shops all over.

What was the best event you were ever invited to?Going to a black party in Madrid then being flown by private jet to Ibiza to a white party for a friends 30th.

Who is your idol?My idol is Kate Moss. Understated Cool

Are you a fan of the X-Factor or The Voice?5 - No not really a fan of the Xfactor or The Voice think it’s a fix and find the judges annoying. Although I loved Will I am!

If you could choose, who would be your perfect dinner date?Ashton Kutcher

How do you define style?Very changeable depending on my mood. Love to get dressed up and wear heels...but love my biker boots and leather jacket just as much.

HairDazzle is the hot new hair product that will have heads turning this year.

For those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure; imagine thin dazzling strands of 3D sparkle that are temporarily tied into the hair, catch the light at every movement and look amazing.

The product is already a staple salon service in the US and has gained notoriety on celebrities such as Beyonce, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Whitney Port (The Hills/The City). More recently in the UK, the cast of The Only Way is Essex wore Hair Dazzle on the season finale and Fearne Cotton looked sensational wearing ‘Vegas Baby Gold’ dazzle to present her TV show.

HairDazzle is easy to attach, doesn’t require glue or heat treatment - so there is no hair damage! It lasts up to 3 weeks and can be treated just like your hair – which means you can wash, blow dry, straighten and style, as normal. HairDazzle can now be found in Kate Henshaw Hair in Aigburth Road costing only £1 per strand.

£2,995 sounds like a good deal for a breast augmentation doesn’t it?! But what are you getting for that £2,995? Aftercare, a one to one service, picked up from home and chauffeured to the hospital or reassurance that you’re in safe hands? Or are you going for the cheap surgery offers or companies that offer finance deals? Does 20%, 30% or 40% APR sound like a good plan so for £2,995 you’re paying back over £4000 on some deals. It does not sound as cheap as you thought now? This is surgery not a purchase in a local supermarket!

Cosmedicare charge the industry standard for all surgery but offer so much more than any other provider. . With 0% APR if you pay over 10 months they are actually cheaper, finance wise, than other clinics and the aftercare service is second to none.

With the top surgeons working directly with Cosmedicare and with a recommendation rate of over 90% there is not much more we can say about them. So you can “buy a voucher for surgery” with some companies advertised out there. What price on a prestige brand. After all it’s your body. See www.cosmedicare.co.uk or call 0151-708-5757 for a free consultation. No one offers a larger range of surgery. Twitter: @cosmedicares

Frid and Uppacut have been in the biz for years. This year however is different for the Hiphop duo - it's their

first joint effort together. Their new album 'Not Tonight, Lads' is out later this year/early 2013.Frid: "Being a Hiphop act sometimes carries a certain obligation to go down a certain route. We try and stay away from the stereotypes of Hiphop"Uppacut: "We're not aiming to do our material harder or more controversial than anyone, we do our music fresher, bouncier, more enjoyable to the leyman." Having had success individually, how have they got on working together? F: "We work well together...there've been moments where I've been in the studio and been like "Mate, that's not good enough", but Uppa's like that with me."U: "We started working on music and have become close, that can only be a good thing... you can feel the music benefiting.""There's always pressure of living up to previous releases. Now all physical formats have almost gone, there's a chance that we could get overlooked despite the fact that this L.P is squaring up nicely."What about LFW?F: "It's a whole different ball game; it'll be cool to get in amongst that! I'm not sure what to expect from LFW other than a decent, lively crowd. If they give us energy

during the show, they'll get it back 100%. What is motivating them both at the minute?F: "The main focus is to finish the album. The day that's finished, there will be a fair few celebration drinks downed!"With Frid, a great lyricist and record label owner and Uppacut having been a member of successful 'Fleapit', who exactly are they listening to now?U: "Bruno Mars is cool man, he's fresh as hell. I'm also liking Rizzle Kicks a lot. There's Emeli Sande, Rebecca Fergusson, Kasabian... and Jessie J has a great voice."One last word from Frid "I'm a perfectionist. I scrutinise things to the last tiny detail, but he's [Uppa's] the same; nothing gets past us in terms of the quality of product. This album's reflecting that very well, but people can get down to a show and see for themselves."

How did you get into magic?I started off in getting into magic whilst I was in the Armed Forces (Royal Navy Submarine Service). During my free at sea I decided to pick up a deck of cards and taught myself how to do very basic tricks. But the major turning point for me was in Florida in 2009 when I went to Universal Studios and saw a close up magic act and that was the moment that I knew I wanted to become a Close –Up Magician. What turned into a small hobby, turned into an obsession, which is now my passion.

What is your speciality? The magic I perform is perfect for any Bar, Night Club and restaurant environment not to mention any and all special events.I start like any typical magician performing magic with cards, coins, some fire and everyday objects but my passion is magic not for the faint hearted such as nail gun russian roulette, razor blade eating and the dreaded spike under cups effect.

Oh my goodness, tell us more?Well the magic I like to perform is mainly for an adult audience which is what I prefer to cater for. I basically look at tricks I would love to see as a spectator

LEE WELLZYis fast becoming Liverpool's hottest magician on the corporate and private party circuit.

Venue, bar, restaurant or night club that he has not performed in and he has accomplished all of this in as little as 2 years, and now Lee WellZy is the official Lifestyle’s magician for all our events. We fell under his spell and you will too when you see him.

and then try to find how I can learn them, I test them to an audience and if they work well they go into my routine and if they dont work I wont use them.

Have you ever hurt yourself?Never (knocks on wood) but I am always trying to find and learn the next big dangerous effect.

How long does it take to learn a trick? That all depends on the skill level and how difficult it may be, sometimes can be a matter of hours other times it can take several months to get the confidence needed to perform infront of a close up audience. Luckily for me I have an OCD approach to practicing, I will practice an effect 100 times straight, if I get it wrong I start from zero again

Are you part of the Magic Circle?I have been to meetings after learning magic but I do not go on a regular basis unfortunately as I am too busy practicing or performing magic.

As a kid did you watch Paul Daniels?Everyone did but my old babysitter actually brought magic to my attention when I was only a kid, he was a stage illusionist and I loved watching magic live rather than on television. One of the dreams is to tour with the Circus of Horrors or be on Penn

and Teller Fool Us. I have been very fortunate to have performed magic in many different places and hopefully will do a lot more in the near future.

Any Celebrity followers?Haha I would not say I have any followers but I have done a lot of magic for football players from both Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs not to mention X Factor finalists, last year’s international tennis tournament and Holyoaks. Actually my first ever Liverpool performance was for the film premier for Neil Fitzmaurice’s Charlie Noades RIP, which went down really well (once I calmed my nerves) but Neil was a great spectator and he has been a massive support since then. If I was to say the greatest celebrity that I have performed for and felt star struck then it would be when I met the great boxing legend Smokin Jo Fraser when he came to do a lecture in Liverpool, and after the night was over I was lucky enough to get my picture taken with him and also got a signed glove.

Who would you like to wow?I would love to do magic for would be Stephen Fry, Karl Pilkington and Keith Lemon.

What can Lifestyle expect from you now your part of the magazine and our events?Well firstly I would like to say a huge thank you for choosing me as your official events magician. It is huge honor to represent Lifestyles for any and all events and to be the official magician for the upcoming Liverpool Fashion Week and the Lifestyle Awards is something I am truly looking forward to.You can expect the same commitment, passion and drive I bring to all my performances and I will always make sure that everyone I perform to will enjoy or be shocked by the magic that I perform.I am truly looking forward to the exciting and bright future ahead with you guys.

Hello Lifestyle readers! It’s been another busy month for me and I’ve had so many exciting projects on the go!!

I was delighted to attend the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall, where I got to see golfing greats like Tony Jacklin and Ian Woosnam play up close. It was also great to see sporting legends like Willie Thorne and Matthew Hoggard swapping their cue or bat for a set of golf clubs. Check out www.britishpar3.com to see all the scores and news from the event!

I’ve also been enjoying working with Wagner Spray Tech again. They offer easy solutions for painting inside and out with loads of exciting and innovative ideas to achieve a professional finish yourself. I’ve been filming with them again for the Ideal World shopping channel, which is always great.

The videos I filmed for Heat Holders earlier in the year have recently gone up on their YouTube channel and are proving popular. The socks offer a brilliant solution for cold feet at work or in the home and I’ll be sure to be popping mine on in time for the colder weather!

Make sure you all look out for me as I will be appearing in Keith Lemon’s new film. It’s been great to work with Keith again, after our experiences on Bo Selecta! I’ve also had the chance to return to my Big Brother roots and I was on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side with Emma Willis. It’s always great to go back to where it all started and talk about the most recent series too!

I’ve had such an exciting month and I’m looking forward to my upcoming projects. I’m sure next month’s update will be just as action packed! This month’s tip is for putting up lightweight picture frames. Whether it’s photographs or artwork, pictures are a great way of simply and stylishly decorating your home!

All the best, Craig

CRAIG PHILLIPSDIY expert

Fitting Light Weight Picture FramesSTAGE ONEOnce you have decided the height and location of your picture frame, you will need to apply at least 4 wing brackets to the rear of the frame and set these out about 6 inches from each corner of the frame on the left and right sides.

STAGE TWOHold one of the brackets in place and using your small 4V drill and 2mm drill bit, drill some pilot holes into the rear of the frame. This will stop it from splitting when you try to fix the bracket to the frame. Next, drive the 15mm screws through the bracket fixing them to the rear of the frame. Once all four are in position, hold the frame against the wall and, using your pencil, mark the wall through the other hole on the bracket which stands proud of the frame.

STAGE THREEDrill into your mark on the wall with the hammer action drill and 6mm masonry drill bit, apply a 6mm raw plug, and screw your first 45mm screw through one of the brackets. This will take the weight of the frame, then using your spirit level, level up the frame and mark the wall where the other 3 brackets will be fixed.Repeat the same drilling, plugging and screwing into the wall on the other 3 brackets and your frame should now be firmly fixed level to the wall.

Undeterred by tuition fees, almost half a million students will be taking up their place in university this September. So while it’s the holiday season for most of us, it’s panic house-hunting time for students to find their next pad. At the moment, with property prices falling and student populations at an all-time high, investing in a student house for an addition to your property portfolio, or a first low risk buy to let is an excellent idea. With the start of the academic calendar fast approaching, if you’re going to take the plunge the time to get in may be now.

With the right help, student buy to lets couldn’t be easier. Which is great news for parents watching their young adults go away for university for the first time.

In their second year, you can help them by investing in a home that secures your mortgage and guarantees their safety. And even after the young ones have flown their second nest, student housing is a fairly resilient venture with considerable benefits over other forms of property investment. Every year, universities across the UK are at, or near, capacity and need to find extra accommodation. Many professional landlords are hesitant to rent to students because of their traditional perceptions about student behaviour, but in reality, students are some of the best tenants you can have. Parents act as guarantors, so your rent is secured for the whole year. Moreover, with the accommodation rush before September, many students pay upfront in order to reserve the property for the coming year. Future tenants are also guaranteed, for as long as universities exist, so will students. For a student by to let, there are several key aspects an investor will have to consider. Good transport links, close to greenery, local amenities, bars

and restaurants are top of the list. With students, location is key and you’ll want a property located within in a dense student population giving them a lively social scene. It’s also important for your student home to be a house. Houses give a greater sense of community and students like sharing bills and having space for friends and family to visit. But the bigger you buy the more there is to think about. If you buy say a three-storey property, you’ll need to comply with necessary licences such as a Homes of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) that requires physical facilities, such as fire doors, on top of all the usual standard landlord requirements.

Buying a student property is a great secured solution for your child, but it can also be a lucrative investment for the future. This is why it’s important to have the right agency on hand to guide you through the property maze, ensuring you make the most with your money.

Every business, small and large, produces intellectual property from copyright materials such as plans, databases, designs, photographs, bespoke software as well as business brands and logos, registered designs, patentable inventions, know how and trade secrets.

Do you know what IP is? Is it adequately protected? Can you register it and if so in which countries? Can you share it with someone else? These are some of the questions that you need to ask yourself.

Having registered IP included in your company’s balance sheet can add real value to the business and make funding easier. IP can be licensed to a third party in order to generate a royalty income stream for your business, nationally and internationally.

Before allowing others to use your IP make sure that the agreements you enter into are watertight and provide real protection. You also need to make sure that if it doesn’t work out you can retrieve the IP and that its value remains intact.

Insurance can also be sought to protect your IP in case of litigation and adverse claims. Such insurance may be essential, especially to protect patents in an international arena.

Small SME’s may not have patents and registered designs but there is still value in their customer database or in some software you have commissioned. Brand power is also crucial to any business and making sure you remain distinctive and stand out from the crowd puts you one step ahead. Having a registered Trade Mark is relatively simple and cost effective to achieve.

If you require any assistance with evaluating and protecting your IP then please contact Michael Sandys (Partner) at Jackson&Canter QualitySolicitors on 0151 282 1700 or at [email protected]

May I introduce you to Laura Kolbusz? You may not have heard of her – yet - but mark my words you read it here first, this girl is going to be a star!

She’s beautiful, talented, and most of all she has an amazing singing voice. She’s a local lass – well Manchester, but it’s close! Best of all she’s performing at the second night of this year’s Liverpool Fashion Week. So read on to learn a little bit more about her, so in the future you can be all smug and tell people you knew her before she was a mega star………

Hi there Laura, you’re a singer and a model, which is your first passion?Hiya, my first passion has to be my singing, it’s the thing I have been doing majority of my life & trained up to do over the years.

When did your love affair with music start? My love affair with music first started when I was 8 years old, I didn’t exactly have an easy ride at school & unfortunately went through a lot of bullying. Music never treated me badly, was always there for me & comforted me in times of need. When no one was there, music always was! It’s my best friend for sure.

As you are classically trained having spent over 5 years in a choir, but you can also sing pop, so which is your favourite style of music to perform?I love singing country-pop, it seems to really suit my voice & the twang from my accent from travelling around a bit when I was younger seems to suit it quite well. However, I love acoustic music as well as I feel I can show off my voice off more.

Who are your biggest influences and why?My biggest influences have to be Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Eva Cassidy, Leann Rimes & Shania Twain. They all have influenced me in different ways really; they all have something very special about them. I think because of the hard work, effort & self belief they have all used in their careers influences me a lot, they just keep/kept going no matter what anyone said.

If you could pick any musician to collaborate with you, who would you pick and why?It would have to be Bruno Mars for sure! I am a huge fan of his music & got the pleasure of meeting the man himself last year as well going to a few of his live concerts too. Just amazing! If I could get a chance to get up on

that stage with him & sing, I would be in my element! He can play over 7 instruments, song writes, produces & can sing with a fantastic vocal range. I think because I am a soprano & am trained to sing pretty high I feel it could work quite well & we could do some awesome harmonies together.

Do you write your own music?I have started over the last year to use my poems I write & attempt to turn them into songs, I still am learning a lot about song writing, as I am not trained in it. I hope by next year I can have a few of my own originals tracks that I have written myself.

The music business is a tough nut to crack, any advice to other singers? You HAVE to believe in yourself, never give up & be prepared to work VERY hard & understand that there is a lot of competition out there in the music industry. Keep your feet firmly on the ground at all times & you have a good chance of maybe getting somewhere. It’s all about experience in gigging, working with others & experiencing new things throughout your musical journey. Also building up your contacts is vital I feel as well, there will be people out there who know what they are talking about & will be willing to help you. You can achieve anything you put your mind too!

What are you working on at the moment?I have my Voice UK audition at the end of August, a big charity night called ‘A Night For Jack’ which I have been helping to organise as well as performing there, there will be a few X Factor celebs there as well as Capital FM so that will be a great experience for sure. I then of course, have my performance I will be doing for you guys at Liverpool Fashion Week I am very excited about & I also have preparation for a mini UK tour I am planning on achieving in the near future.

Are you excited to be singing at the Liverpool Fashion Week this October, which night will you be performing and what will you be singing?Oh yes I am really excited, will be an amazing experience for me & I am so honoured you have chosen me to sing there for you all. I am performing on the second night, to be honest, I don’t want to go & spoil the surprise on what I am performing on the night so if you want to know, BE THERE!

Can I thank the lady in the library for helping me with my spelling for this.

Why did you decide to set up a blog?I like to call it my diary. I’ve been told I’m a bit like Bridget Jones, only because of the size of my knickers I’m prettier than her. So I call it my secret diary. People have also said my life is like an open book so I thought I’d write about it. It has quite a following too - approaching 66000 hits up to today.

Who are your followers?Between Twitter and Facebook I now have a few thousand followers. All of my followers are lovely people, I call them my Bevettes. But I do have quite a few followers who are quite well known. Eamonn Holmes, he even mentions me live on This Morning. Ruth Lee, Eamonn’s wife. Loose Women or Baggy Birds depending who is on the panel - Carol Mcgiffin and Sherrie Hewson - Marcus Collins has started following recently - Coleen Nolan, we have great banter - fashion expert to the stars Mark Heyes who gets his inspiration from me! Granada news team - the lovely Anne Kirkbride (Deidre Barlow) is a fan - Oh and the infamous Amanda Moss.

Why do you think you have achieved a celebrity following?Just between you and me I think many of the women want to be like me, some of the men too. Especially in the fashion stakes. I think people like the fact that I see everyone as equal, I will speak to a celebrity as I would anyone else.

How do you relax? As you know Lambrini is my life - but I have a great set of friends too. Casa Macca is a haven for all of my friends and our infamous Saturday nights start there. We crack open a few boxes of Brini and pick at a prawn ring. I love all you can eat chinese buffets too, I love being taken up the Wong Wei - Ken Wong Wei’s all you can eat restaurant. If I’m on my own I love nothing more than putting my cankles up with a drink and watch my box set of Life Of Grime.

What is the biggest compliment you have received?Recently my biggest compliment came from the parents of Katy Holmes who passed away this year aged 10. They said through my diary, Twitter and Facebook I had helped them laugh again. This resulted in me being asked to join team Katy. www.katyholmestrust.co.uk What a compliment!

What do you look for in a relationship?A pulse helps.

Would you give up pound paradise to be a journalist full time? That’s a tricky one. I’ve worked hard to get where I am at Pound Paradise being head of promotions. My Far La (in house perfume) being sought after worldwide. After googling what a journalist is I’d give it a go. So long as I don’t have to dye my hair ginger and hack phones though. I had my phone hacked recently, someone put £5 credit on it. Strange.

Describe your fashion styleOh that’s an easy one. The 3 L’s - Leggins, Lycra and Lambrini. You can accessorize anything with leggins and lycra, and the Lambrini makes a great statement - it says Party Girl! I’m not into lables either, the only label I wear is drip dry only. I do love my Timmy Shoos though, copies of Jimmy Choos.

What is your beauty routine?Lippy and Lashes! Simple! If you have lashes to flutter and lips to pout you just work it. I do confess to wearing Pound Paradise self tan ‘Le J’aundice’ Always end the night with a wet wipe too!

Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?It has to be my double - Katherine Jenkins! It’s the curse of my life being so alike, every day is a struggle being called Kath or Miss Jenkins. I just want to ask her why she chooses to copy me, from the leggins to the lip gloss. If she had a decent voice I’d be seriously worried. Can you see the resemblence.

What is your pet hate?Just one?At work, people find it funny to come into ‘Pound Paradise’ and ask ‘how much is that love.’ The clue is in the name! Oh, one more pet hate. Why did my supervisor Fat Sue buy a Smart Car? She said she would slim into it! You slim into a frock for gods sake, not a car.

Introducing Beverly Macca, lover of Pound Paradise where she works and already accumulating a top celebritty following from around the country. She's starts her column in Lifestyle magazine next month but in the meantime.....

We met on the same cobbled street that Bread was filmed on a decade ago. Elswick

Street in L8 was the setting for the TV series that commanded viewing figures of over 20 million people. Jonathan catapulted to fame, alongside other cast members, with his role of troubled poet Adrian.

He starred in the role for the full five years of the running of the series, between 1986 and 1991 and hadn’t returned back to the city since.

So what was it like for him? “My first emotion was fantastic, wow, it always moved me to come here,” he said. “Bread was a proud achievement and we were like a huge family. Every day for five months of my life we’d get up at 4am and get into costume and come down here to film, I made some great friends and am still in touch with everyone, especially Nick who played Billy and Jean, my on screen mum.”

Jonathon returns to the city to play the court jester in Sleeping Beauty pantomime in the waterfront Big Top, which will be assembled in front of the echo Arena on the waterfront during the panto season.

Jonathon says, “This will be a role with a different, I will be singing and dancing , there’ll be comedy and people will see me as they ahven’t seen me

before, I will make it completely different. It is important that everyone from the smallest child to the oldest person in the audience can relate to and love something about what we do on the stage, that is true variety and I hope I’ll be funny.”

Rehearsals get underway this month after Jonathon finishes his national tour of Dead Ringer . He says, “We work as a team and that is what bring success to a show. Everyone from the producer to the entertainers to the caterers to the cleaners all work together. I feel like I am the centre midfield player and my role is to inspire and engage people and to make sure we pull together.

Jonathon is incredibly excited to be playing to a Liverpool crowd and says that one of his dreams is to play in front of Kenny Daglish (“he is a legend”) and David Moyes, the Everton manager. As an immense football fan, Jonathon says, “ I have huge respect for what he has done for the club and for football in general, the way he has developed a youth team and stayed with the club and not been swayed by money or anything. He is so dedicated to what he does and if he turned up to see me perform I would be over the moon.. I bet he’s hard as nails as well!”

Jonathon, who lives down south, “between Dorset and Chichester”, has just been made Associate Director of the Lincoln Theatre Royal. “I am very proud of that and next year I play the lead in the musical A Slice of Saturday Night,” he enthuses.

Jonathon Morris returns to Liverpool in his first

role in the city since Bread. and chats to editor

Amanda Moss about coming to panto, The Sleeping

Beauty this Christmas.

Following Bread, Jonathon did a stint on children’s television before landing the lad role in a Vampire film series in the US. Way before Twighlight Jonathaon has always been forward thinking about the roles he takes on. He says, “ We filmed in the USA and Romania, it was brilliant. But everyone thinks I am a comic actor but actually there is a real dark side to me and in fact I always played the bad guy in these films. I am not violent but I have a deep voice, a strong voice.”

Alongside acting his other passion is fashion. He says, “ I especially love ladies’ fashion. My favourite style of clothes is Vivienne Westwood but then I also like the floaty florally styles of southern new England. I just love fashion!”

David Lee, producer of The Sleeping Beauty says of Jonathon, “He is one of the finest principal comedic actors I know. He engages on every level his role and it is an absolute pleasure to work with him.”

As Jonathan was photographed in the street, a neighbour, popped her head out of the door. Having lived in the street all her life, she remembered Bread being filmed wit fond memories. She said, “It was lovely, people cant believe we live in such small houses for real. We still get tourists down here now, mostly weekends and holidays but they come from all over the world. You would see Aveline walk past and everyone would shout, “I wanna be a model.”

HE'S BOLD, HE'S BRASH, HE'S JUST WHAT LIFESTYLE LOVES...... JAIDEN MICHEAL, THE SELF TITLED, "BRITAIN'S MOST BRUTAL BLOGGER."

So its official, I'm Liverpool's hottest magazine's, hottest new columnist! With a reputation that makes Simon Cowell look like Pope John Paul, I thought I'd share to the readers of Lifestyle what's making me cringe each month. But of course I have a real soft side (think Snow White with a skin head and tattoos) so I will be sharing the love for anything that's made me smile.

No no no,not the actual show,I love it! I just find it extremely annoying and hard to understand why CBB promotes home wreckers ad “celebs” who are only known for sleeping or trying to sleep with a famous fella. *cough Rhian* Surely there are enough celebs in this world to choose a decent line up rather than promote to young girls that you too can be a celeb if you try and sleep with someones husband. I don’t want my young nieces watching CBB and thinking that’s what they want to be when they are older. Yes,people will disagree with what I’m saying but its jut my opinion. Shower us with ex soap stars, cheesy pop stars from the 90’s, failed tv presenters but please sod off with the desperate tramps!!

Dearest mobile service provider, I am really happy that you have given me an amaaaaazing deal for

Welcome to what bugs me or what I think is boss.

BUG 1 - Celebrity Big Brother.

BUG 2 - Blackberry battery.

BOSS 1 - Kameelion

BOSS 2 - Who ru wearing?

I love nothing better than discovering new talent via YouTube, twitter, myspace etc. Picture the scene, I’m snarling my way round Top Man,ready to kill someone because none of their clothes fit my fat ass, suddenly my bro Faz introduces me to his mate, Ben. After speaking to Ben I was informed he is a singer, songwriter who produces all of his own music and has been signed to Sony. Quickly searching him on YouTube I was blown away! Not only can this lad sing and rap but his sound is something very fresh and uplifting. His fave band is Pet Shop Boys and it’s clear to see they have been a big influence in his music.

If you are like me; simply stunning, then you will love this company! Who ru wearing is perfect for people wanting to get into modelling, become well known or for those who just adore themselves. Basically, you send them a picture of yourself, they upload to their gallery and people can buy a tshirt with YOUR mug on it!! Promote yourself well and you will climb from the z.list gallery to the a.list gallery. I am already in the a.list woooo hoooo(not bad for a fat wool eh). Check out www.whoruwearing.co.uk and get uploading! I’m sure Samantha Brick would love this. Top tweet: @laurenwatson18: was convinced I saw @robkardashian in Palm Sugar, was going over to say hi then realised it was @jaidenofficial!!!

my blackberry phone, YES it is the cheapest in the world but can you do me a favour and give me £300 on my leccy meter key as well! That’s how much it costs me to keep the bloody thing charged. Never in my life have I had to carry 23 spare batteries,a charger,a car charger and a portable wall with a socket in JUST to be able to text my mum to tell her what time I’ll be round for tea.
