Warranty claimsTo make a claim against your Lifetime Warranty, please take your tyre/s to your local Marangoni Dealer for a technical inspection - this does not have to be the dealer from which the tyres were originally purchased.In order to make a claim you will need the warranty card issued on purchase of the tyres; make sure that it bears the dealer’s stamp and is filled out completely when you buy the tyres.The tyre/s for which warranty coverage is sought will be examined by the dealer, who will verify whether the warranty is applicable according to the rules set forth herein.If the warranty is applicable, the tyre/s shall be replaced accordingly and cannot be the subject of further claims.

Warranty application rules:1) A tyre with 80% or more of the tread remaining will be replaced with

a new Marangoni tyre of the same size and type (or corresponding type);

2) In the replacement of tyres with less than 80% of the tread remaining, the user will be charged a percentage of the cost of the tyre equal to the percentage of the tread used (the difference between the tread depth of the new tyre and the remaining tread depth);

3) In the case of the remaining tread depth being equal or below the legal limit, the Warranty is invalidated.

The percentage discount is calculated based on the invoice or the list price in force on the date indicated on the Warranty certificate. N.B. The fitting and balancing costs incurred during the replacement of tyres subject to a Warranty claim are in all cases to be met by the user.

conditions oF Validity oF tHe marangoni tyre liFetime WarrantyThis Warranty applies to the entire life cycle of the new tyre, independently of the date of purchase. The rights deriving from the Warranty are not transferable to any party other than the person named on the guarantee certificate and are an addition to the provisions of the law regarding warranty on consumer goods.

the Warranty covers damage and failures caused by:1. Defects in the manufacture and/or materials2. Irreparable damage due to normal use on roads

situations where the Warranty is invalidated and damage not covered:a) Irregular and/or untimely wear caused by mechanical defects in

the vehicle, the use of defective and/or unsuitable rims, inflation pressures different from those prescribed, loads exceeding those prescribed by the vehicle manufacturer, the towing of trailers whose weight and/or size exceeds the values specified in the vehicle registration certificate.

b) Damage caused by improper and/or prolonged use of snow chains.c) Damage following use in competitions.d) Unsuitable use of the tyre, in conflict with its technical

characteristics, in particular damage and irregular and/or untimely wear caused by unasphalted roads or roads in poor maintenance conditions.

e) Repairable damage in the tread area.f) Damage caused while fitting or removing a wheel and/or tyre.g) Theft and damage caused by acts of vandalism.h) Damage due to road accidents.i) Problems due to road accidents, fires, acts of God.j) Deterioration due to prolonged contact with mineral oils,

hydrocarbons, solvents, acids.k) Tyre sizes, load indices and speed ratings not corresponding to

those indicated on the vehicle’s registration documents.

cHecks to be made dUring UseMarangoni recommends a number of checks to be carried out over the entire life of the tyres, in order to constantly ensure the safety, grip and reliability demanded. The following should be checked at regular intervals.

Wheel parameters• Toe-in/toe-out, camber and unbalance of the wheels should be

checked at regular intervals by a specialist tyre retail outlet.• Iftheseparametersareincorrect,theyresultinirregularandrapid

tyre wear, which will make it necessary to replace the tyres more frequently.

tyre Pressure• Checks and adjustments must be carried out on the tyres at

ambient temperature (after covering few kilometres at moderate speed) at least every 30 days. Do not deflate hot tyres.

• Insufficientpressurecauses:a) Structural damage due to excessive stress and overheating;b) Reduced grip, increased risk of aquaplaning;c) Irregular and untimely wear of both tyre shoulders;d) Increased fuel consumption;e) Increased risk of tyre damage in case of impact against obstacles

(for example, pavement).
