Shayne Walker is a part of the MEDS, Maori EconomicDevelopment Strategy for the region and is also the GeneralManager for Maungaharuru-Tangitu Trust (MTT) which wasestablished to receive and manage Treaty of Waitangi Settlementredress from the New Zealand Government.Shayne has collective experience across various industries with thepast 10 years working in justice and health, managing operations,designing strategy, policy and various governance roles with aparticular focus on accelerating Māori outcomes.
Jody Hamilton has over 18 years’ experience in the areas of employment andeconomic development, including 12 years as a senior executive inorganisations in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.She is the Director of JMP Consulting, drawing on her experiences in strategy,management and operations in economic and social development, primarilyfocussing in the areas of youth, Maori and Indigenous employment.As the project lead for the Sustainable Business Council’s Social Impactworkstream, Jody works with members to support them to be more effectivein recruiting excluded and disadvantaged young people into their businesses.
Simon Taylor works for The Icehouse in the areas of CustomerStrategy and Facilitation. He is also the director of his own businessST Consulting.
Sarah-Jo Barley has spent over eight years working internationally, establishing herself as a leading advisor in her role of assisting multinationals in their business development and growth strategies.This has provided her with a global network and extensive experience in partnership collaboration, strategic relationship engagement, client management and a deep understanding of the business challenges in developing regions.
