step 1 and 2Laying out and placing bracketsNo matter whether the walls of the building are concrete, brick, cellular concrete, wood or steel, Eurofox can supply the right fastening system. These are optimally de-signed for the application, plus all the drawings and diagrams necessary for installa-tion of the facade with minimum materials wastage and thus maximum efficiency.

AnchoringBy anchoring insulation material can be fastened on all base materials up to an insluation thickness of 220mm. A broad variety of Hilti anchors for all applications needs is available.• Plastic anchors in black and white for fastening without heat transfer to outside up to 220mm insulation thickness• Metal anchors with fire test report up to 150mm insulation thicknessi

step 3Fastening the bracketsSeveral means can be used to install the brackets: anchor fastening, screw fastening or powder-actuated fastening.

•Anchor fastening: Anchor fastening: A wide range of anchors suitable for fastening facade brackets. For example, the Hilti HRD frame anchor can be usedon virtually all types of base materi-als. Other conventional anchor types, such as the Hilti HSA or HST stud anchors are, also suitable. Hilti HIT injectable adhesive mortar is our problem solver for use on tricky materials or where demands are particularly high. It is also ideal for use where brackets need to be installed quickly, reliably and conveniently. These are only a few examples of the fastening systems we offer for use on materials of all kinds.

•Powder-actuated fastening: With this technique, a powder-actuated fastening tool, such as the Hilti DX 460 is used to drive a stainless steel nail into a 5 mm diameter predrilled hole. Brackets can thus be fastened quickly and very easily. The predrilled hole provides good nail guid-ance and guarantees high load values. As the holes are drilled to a depth of only 18 mm, there is no risk of problems caused by drilling into rebar.

insulation fastening made easy.step 4The thermal insulationAll commonly available insulation products that meet the requirements of rainscreen facades can be used for thermal insulation. In order to allow good air circulation, it is important that adequate space remains between the thermal insulation and the rear of the panels or slabs. This has a significant influence on the quality of the building’s interior climate.

step 5Fastening the insulationWe offer a wide range of insulation fasteners for all surfaces in different material. Thermal insulation with a thickness of up to 200 mm can be fastened to concrete easily and efficiently using the DX 460 powder-actuated fastening tool. This tool is re-liable, easy to use and ruggedly built for long life – and is ideal for demanding, repeti-tive fastening applications.

However, in order to ensure maximum cost-efficiency, the means of fastening to be used must already be taken intoaccount when the rainscreen facade substructure is designed..

Adhesive systems can be used for con-cealed fastening of large facade panels.This technique is suitable for use with fi-bre cement, ceramic, HPL and aluminium composite panels. Loadbearing profiles with a smooth surface are used for adhe-sive bonded panels due to their ease of cleaning.Visible means of fastening the facade pan-els, such as rivets or screws can also be used with this system. Therefore, fluted profiles are usuallypreferred due to the bet-ter adjustability that they provide.

Ceramic or fine stoneware slabs are best fastened with visible stainless steel clips. Other systems for fastening terracotta slabs and glass panels with visible alu-minium clips are also available.

The bracket MFT-FOX H/HI is specially design for the use in horizontal sub constructions in rain screen facades. The vertical alignment of the bracket guaranties a optimal load transfer to the base material. Additionally the bracket is easy to install in one layer horizontal solution as well as in double layer solutions. Fix- and Flexible Point are no longer needed with this bracket as the thermalexpansionoftheprofilesisabsorbedbythebracket.Thereforetheinstallationofthebracketisnotjusteasierbutalsosaver.Wrongmountedfix-andflexiblepointarebelongingtothepast.

A contractual relationship will originate only from our written confirmation of order. Any omission of discussion does not count as an agreement. Any deviation from the offer in our order confirma-tion must be the subject of an immediate complaint in writing; otherwise any legal action is excluded. Exclusively on the basis of previous written agreement, regular customers orders may be confirmed by us orally/by telephone.

2. PRICESOnly the prices specified in our confirmation of the order are effective. Orders made/confirmed orally are regarded as posted on the day of order, according to the corresponding list price. A cash discount on list prices without exception allowed subject on the condition that all the invoices have been paid entirely and in due time. All quoted prices are net prices (legal sales tax, VAT excluded).

3. SUPPLYIf not agreed otherwise, delivery is accepted ex works. The unloading is always on responsibility and at the risk of the customer. We are entitled to deliver in parts. We endeavor to meet the delivery date notified by us but do not guarantee our delivery dates, even if confirmed by us. Any problem with delivery not caused by us, including any possible delay in delivery by our suppliers, authorize us to extend our delivery time or to withdraw from the contract. Any claim for compensation by the purchaser because of delayed or omitted delivery is excluded in any case.

4. RECEITP AN ACCEPTANCE OF GOODSGoods which obviously have been exposed to dampness on transporta-tion have to be inspected promptly on receipt for their unobjectionable condition.

5. STORAGE OF GOODSOur goods and materials have to be stored in dry and well-ventilated pre-mises.

6. RECONSIGNMENT OF GOODSDelivered goods must not be returned unless otherwise expressly allowed by us in a previous written permission. Brackets are taken back just in entire packing units and unobjectionable condition without except. No return is permitted for coated rivets, screws, clamps and profiles - as well at edge-, connection-, end-, joint-, ventilation- and any kind of special profiles. Profiles with traces of white rust, damages or pollution can‘t be taken back at all. White rust may occur when profiles are exposed to dampness, as rainfall and condensation. Condensation will probably arise when cooled goods are taken into warm premises. The above instructions have to be followed strictly if not no warranty claims are accepted. A credit note will be issued only on receipt and careful inspection of the returned products, less a handling fee of 20% of the goods value.7. CONDITIONS OF PAYMENTIf not agreed otherwise, payment is due within 7 days net without cash discount. We are not obliged to accept a bill or a cheque; payments are effected on receipt on our bank account. Any transfer charges are debited to customers account. In case of default of payment, interest for delay at the rate of 8 percentage points above the base interest rate specified by the Austrian National Bank, is agreed. The minimum rate will be 10% per annum. Furthermore, in case of default of payment, the purchaser is com-mitted to reimburse our expenses for collection of the debt, according to the fees and expenses, defined by the Austrian Rechtsanwaltstarifgesetz (Lawyers‘ Pay Act) and the Austrian Gerichtsgebührengesetz (Court Costs Act). The purchaser is neither entitled to balance his claims with ours, nor to refuse payment because of allege warranty claims. The purchaser is not allowed to transfer his title to claims towards us to a third party.

8. RESERVATION OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTSWe always supply with the explicit reservation that the delivered goods remain our property, until our invoice in respect of the purchase price has been paid off in its entirety. Exercising the due diligence of a prudent busi-nessman the purchaser has to keep goods specified under this condition separated from other goods and to assure them sufficiently against all risks. The purchaser is allowed to process the goods specified within the limits of ordinary business and/or to sell them. This further processing shall

take place in our interests and shall not lead to the loss of our property. In case of incorporation or amalgamation with other goods that are not our property, we shall be credited with co-ownership, proportional to the quota. By accepting the terms of this contract, the purchaser has trans-ferred to us all of his claims against a third party resulting from the resale of the goods specified under this condition, as well as all claims resulting from insurance contracts, up to a maximum of the purchase price as spe-cified in our invoice. The purchaser has to keep incoming money from the paid, third party invoices separate from his own money, and immediately to pass it on to us, as soon as our invoice in respect of the purchase price falls due. We consent to this resale and as a concession we commit ourselves not to collect the resulting payments from the third parties until our invoice in respect of the original purchase price falls due. In case of default of payment the purchaser commits himself, on our first request, to disclose to us the purchasers of the goods specified under this condition as well as their insurers. The purchaser is prohibited from mortgaging the goods specified under this condition or the claims transferred to us, from transferring his ownership as security on a debt, or from selling it to a third party, otherwise than as agreed in this contract, as long as our invoice in respect of the purchase price has not been entirely paid off. Compulsory possession orders and other attempts to gain access to the goods speci-fied under this condition by a third party that affect our legal status have immediately to be reported to us in writing. The purchaser has promptly to object to such measures, in so far as they relate to our conditional pro-perty.

9. WARRANTY AND LIABILITYComplaints about obvious faults must be made in writing immediately upon receipt of the goods; otherwise any legal action is excluded. The warranty period shall be limited to six months from the date of delivery. Complaints about hidden faults must be made in writing immediately, upon their discovery and must include an accurate description of the fault. Any claim regarding quantity or quality that is justifiably raised will be settled consensually between our customers and us, according to existing commercial practice. However, claims for damages on account of the non-performance of a supply contract are excluded. If our delivered pro-ducts are based on installation plans (installation guidelines and technical information) drawn up by EUROFOX, these installation plans (installation guidelines and technical information) have to be followed strictly. The installation plans (installation guidelines and technical information), created by EUROFOX, have been drawn up on the basis of data supplied by the customer. EUROFOX will not verify the accuracy of the indicated data. Therefore we assume no liability for any data supplied by the customer to EUROFOX. In this regard any warranty claims and claims for damages by the customer are excluded a priori. EUROFOX is not liable for quality defects and incorrect technical specifications that are the fault of the suppliers of the materials. Neither do we accept any liability for defects resulting from failure to comply with our installation plans (installation gui-delines and technical information) or with customs and practices, generally accepted the trade. We warrant the quality of the products on the basis of the specifications and test standards, stated in the product range. There is no implied warranty of fitness for certain applications. We specifically are not liable for faults arising from modifi- cation or wear and tear, for defects in the supporting construction or installation, or for damage brought about by the incorrect processing (installation) of any item. For items produced externally we are liable only on the basis of the warranty, guaranteed by the particular producer. Except in cases based on intention or gross negli-gence, no further liability, including liability to pay compensation, is accep-ted. Excluded in particular is any compensation for consequential loss, for other indirect damages, or loss, or loss of profit due to bad delivery, default of delivery, or delay in delivery. In any case, our liability (regarding the amount due) is limited to the total value of the particular order.

10. COURT OF JURISDICTION, APPLICABLE LAW, MISCELLANEOUSRegarding any disputes resulting from or in connection with the business relation, the court of jurisdiction is Wiener Neustadt exclusively. The lan-guage of the contract as well as at court shall be German. We are also entitled to institute proceedings against the purchaser, in our sole discreti-on and at our own discretion at the purchaser‘s place of general jurisdic-tion. Austrian law shall apply. The application of the UN purchase law is excluded.The fact of single clauses not being operative does not touch on the effectiveness of the other clauses of these conditions of sale and supp-ly. Should we choose not to exercise any single right, or all the rights to which we are hereby entitled, this shall not mean a relinquishment of these rights.
