transitioning to a new ministry with The Fold Church in Greenville, SC

    Volume 1, Issue 5 - January 2021

Lighthouse Community Church will KNOW GOD and SHOW GOD

by connecting people to GOD, COMMUNITY & PURPOSE.

Lighthouse is about connection. We are excited to bring monthly focus to a Lighthouse partnering missionary or ministry for connection

that will enable us to pray specific prayers with greater passion and serve with greater impact.

A Message from the Wards This has been a year of change for our family, like it has for many people. This

year God opened the door for us to transition into church planting in

Asheville, NC. He connected us to an awesome new church in Greenville, SC.

We were making preparations to transition out of YWAM to plant a location

of this church, called The Fold, in Asheville. In July all of that changed due to a

moral failure in the leadership of the Greenville location. We have since been

asked by our parent church to help lead the original location of The Fold in

Greenville. We are moving forward as an independently functioning campus

of our parent church. Because the original pastor fundraised his salary instead

of being paid by the church we’re currently still living by fundraising until the church can support us. In the

midst of this chaos we have seen God’s continued faithfulness and affirmation. The church has grown in the

months since the transition and opportunities for impact in our local community have continued to increase.

Thank you so much for your prayers and continued support! God has been unceasingly faithful to us and you

are part of his goodness to our family!

    1. We’re moving to Greenville. Pray with us that God would provide long term

housing so that we can settle down.

    2. We are leading in a difficult season at our church. Pray with us that God gives us

    wisdom and patience.

You may send messages of encouragement to the Wards by email to [email protected].
