LEEP Campaign Overview Exterior lighting often provides some of the easiest, most cost-effective energy-saving opportunities for buildings – but challenges exist to realizing this potential at scale. The LEEP Campaign: • Is sponsored by BOMA, GPC and IFMA, with technical support from US DOE
‒ Launched September 2012• Offers awards, recognition, and support to encourage adoption of proven high-
efficiency lighting in parking• Surpassed goal of achieving at least 100M sq ft of high efficiency parking
lighting installed or planned by February 2014‒ Actual achieved was 270M sq ft‒ Awards in all 12 award categories
• Campaign is being extended – next award event:‒ 2015 BOMA Every Building Conference & Expo, June 28-30, 2015‒ Goal increased from 300M sq ft to 500M sq ft for second phase of Campaign
