INTRODUCING UDMAX™ TAPES

UDMAX™ tape is a unidirectional continuous fiber reinforced composite material that offer high lightweight and strength performances as a replacement solution for metal, plywood and other traditional materials.

HPFIT™ TECHNOLOGYAfter a precise and controlled spreading system of the glass- and/or carbon filaments, the fibersare impregnated through a proprietary high-pressure fiber impregnation technology of the polymer. The result is a resin rich surface containing a high density of continuous aligned fibers, minimal void content and fewer broken filaments. 100µm

UDMAX GPP 45-70 TAPEA glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene tape delivering excellent stiffness, strength and impact resistance.

Suitable for plain-woven and twill fabrics, as well as cross-plied (0/90, 0/90/0) material. These material forms can be used for an array of applications, from transportation to building & construction markets.

THE UDMAX™ TAPES

NEW! UDMAX™ GPE 46-70 TAPEA glass-filled high density polyethylene tape designed to deliver one of the highest mechanical properties in the industry. It can be used to reinforce industrial pipes, boilers and storage tanks, customers can significantly increase strength performance while reducing weight and corrosion in the most demanding environments.

TAILORED SERVICE

IN-HOUSE CUSTOMIZED TAPE SLITTINGSABIC’s high end slitting equipment can slit UDMAX™ tapes precisely and in custom widths – starting at 5mm wide to larger sizes, as the customer requires. Additionally, using a high speed winding equipment, tapes can be winded under a controlled tension on the core in a parallel or cross wound manner. Depending on material specifications, UDMAX™ tape rolls can be delivered up to 4,000 running meters of length.
