What is the meaning of life?

"I am a fragment of a mirror whose whole design and shape I do not know.

Nevertheless, with what I have I can reflect light into the dark places of this world as well as into black places in the hearts of men and change some things in some people. Perhaps others may see and do likewise.”

Reflecting light into dark places!

The meaning of life…

Reflecting the light of Jesus in the mirror of

our hearts to the world around us.

We live in a dark world that is in need of

some light being shined into it!

I just want to do what God wants me to do

I want to be a reflection of who He is

Transformed into Authentic Reflections of

Christ (the light of the world)…

As Authentic Christians, people should see

the light of Jesus being reflected into our

homes, our offices, community, school; in

every aspect of our life?

And we, who with unveiled faces (as in a

mirror) all reflect the Lord's glory, are

being transformed into his likeness with

ever-increasing glory, which comes from

the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians

3:18

TRANSFORMATION

Transformed into Authentic Reflections of

Christ (the light of the world)…

As Authentic Christians, people ought to

be able to see Jesus reflected in what we

say and in what we do.

• How would things be different if Jesus came & took

your place?

• Would anything have been different this morning as

you got ready to come to church?

• What if He took over your job at work?

• Teenager, what if He sat in your desk at school?

• Or what if He took my place in the pulpit?

Authentic Christians are true REFLECTIONS of JESUS in their lives.

As AUTHENTIC REFLECTIONS

We are to LOOK like

Looking

Like Jesus

People must be able to see Jesus.

One thing is for sure, it has to be real.

How are people ever going to see Jesus?

•If people are ever going to see Jesus, they will have to

see Jesus in us.

•This means we have to be real or authentic.

•We must reflect and imitate the character, nature

and attitudes of Jesus.

When people looked at Jesus what did they see?

• Jesus was generous

• Jesus was genuine

• Jesus was receptive

As AUTHENTIC REFLECTIONS

We are to LOOK like

As AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANS

We are to SOUND like

Where ever Jesus went,

he was the talk of the

town.

Our task is to help make Jesus known by

sounding like Him.

Our vocabulary

Our conversations

Our prayers

Our stories

Our message

Our task is to help make Jesus known by

God has planted Christians among people

who have been spiritually anesthetized, as

voices to proclaim the message of spiritual

recovery and healing.

As AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANS

We are to SOUND like

As AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANS

We are to ACT like

Act like Jesus…

Jesus has laid down a pattern

for you to follow.

A person who trusts Jesus will

do what He is doing.

We are to reflect the light of Jesus

into the darkness of this world as

Authentic Christians.

We are to LOOK like Jesus

We are to SOUND like Jesus

We are to ACT like Jesus

I just want to do what God wants me to do

I want to be a reflection of who He is
