WHY PIVOTS AND LATERALS?

GET MORE VALUE OUT OF LESS WATERGetting the correct amount of water on your crop at the right time is crucialto getting top yields, but it’s also important to apply it uniformly. Zimmaticirrigation systems bring a cost-effective solution to alleviate risk when theweather turns dry.

Increase yields through moreuniform application

Uniform application of water,chemicals and fertilization generallyresults in improved plant yield,growth and quality. A Zimmaticirrigation system can provide properapplication to every part of yourfield throughout the growing season,even in those areas that are currentlyover- or under-irrigated. If you havefields where water retention is poor,

especially with sandy soils, using anirrigation system can increase youryields by 10% up to 50%. 1

Reduce waste

Because water and chemicals areapplied uniformly over the field, apivot or lateral system produces lesswaste, especially when compared toflood. With a Zimmatic system, youget even, precise water applicationacross the field (Figure A), rather
