This project was done in a class called collaboration. In this class I worked along side with two other interior designers, one landscape architect and two architects to put together a Holocaust

Museum.

The concept behind the Museum was life illumi-

nated. One persons life can be understood and misin-terpreted by another person without the understanding of the emotional journey that they went on. The contrast between light and dark along with closing in and open-ing up space can create that emotional journey that

people in the holocaust went through. By using all these aspects our museum creates an emotional journey to be experienced in many differ-ent ways, because no one control how one feels within

a space.

Materials

First exhibit floor consists ofa theatre that flows out to

the beginning of the exhibits. The top render shows the transportationfrom the first to second

exhibit floor.

The second exhibit floor leads the visitors throughout the space with jagged walls that help set the mood of the material being shown.

The last floor consist of the memorial first being the light room. Each light reflects a persons life and all walls are mirrored as to reflect

the bulbs to be infinite. The last space you get lead to is a clean simple room with a reflecting water feature so the visitors can think about what they have just seen

and relax.

This design is a hand ren-dering assignment in which I had to create a executive lounge. The design provides comfort for people waiting on flights to work or relax

by the bar.

The lounge was furnished with Holly Hunt Furniture combined with some

modifications.

This project was inspired by a client

who owned her own art

business and needed a

home that doubles as her work space. Theproject was done in

Auto CAD and using PhotoShop to add some texture to

the design.

This project was done in Revit and was a ren-ovation of a local coffee shop J&B. The project explores floor plans,

sections, and elevations to sell the design. The coffee shop is a place

for people to come and relax or do work in a

This project was done in Revit and then hand ren-dered. The purpose was a renovation of the Texas

Tech’sWelcome Center. The goal was to update the look to be more welcoming to the

younger students whoare viewing the campus

for the first time.

All of these renders weregenerated in Revit and

then traced by hand fol-lowed by hand rendering.

The top two renders show the long term seating/meeting area. This area provides for future stu-

dents to come in and log on to computers or to

meet with someone to talk about their future at Tech.

The first two bottom ren-ders show the reception area which is the focal

point as someone enters the space. It has a lot of branding as to provide brand recognition for

future students.

The last render shows a short term seating area for students to walk in

and take a break.

Work In Progress

Currently in my senior studio I am working on a hotel and condominium.

The theme I am going for is Victorian Rualism. It is a mix of rustic clean lines

with victorian aspects thrown in. I plan on cre-ating everything in revit then rendering it also in

revit but them adding some personal touches to the de-sign with hand rendering. So, this project will end up

being mixed media.

The renders were com-pleted before furniture and some walls were added, but

they do show the direc-tion I am attempting to go

toward.

The furniture selections will have a more victorian

feel.

The project will be com-pleted at the end of the

semester.
