FLOWTECH Linear Bar Grille (LBG) is a side wallgrille with a combination of xed prole horizontal blades in front and adjustable vertical blades in rear as an option.

With its high capacity and pleasant aesthetics FLOWTECH Linear Bar Grilles & Registers arecommonly used in relatively large spaces with doublecommonly used in relatively large spaces with doublevoids such as Domes, Open Lobbies, Malls, Atriums,and Building Entrances, where both these featuresare required.

For this purpose FLOWTECH DDLBR & DDLBGcan be supplied in both straight and curve shapeto suit the interior geometry of the served space.

FLOWTECH Linear Bar Grilles can also be used asFLOWTECH Linear Bar Grilles can also be used asa conventional supply and return grille or as a combination of both. Thereof, blind dummy segments can be ordered to integrate in the decorative outlook of the whole wall.

Opposed Blades Dampers are supplied by FLOWTECH to achieve precise control over the airow volume. OBD is used for ne tuning the airow volume. OBD is used for ne tuning the air ow volumes and should not be used as a branch volume control damper.

In FLOWTECH DDLBR & DDLBG vertical rear blades are used for directional air ow control. Typically, these blades can be adjusted to achieve the required air distribution pattern.

The front bar blade is supplied as one of the three following congurations:

Standard Widths:Frame and bar blades are made of extruded aluminium alloy 6063 to T6 Heat Treatment.The Opposed Blades Damper is also extrudedaluminium alloy 6063/T6.

FLOWTECH OBD is xed to the rear frame of LBRby means of “S” clamp for ease of removal and rigid construction.

To adjust the OBD opening, turn the adjustmentscrew available at the front face of the register (Clockwise to Open / Counter Clockwise to Close).

Curved Segments are available for both sidewallcurves (CS) and ceiling curves (CP), with a minimumradius of curvature of 1000mm.

For special installations, our technician can visit the project site and take the actual measurements to ensure a perfect t.

Linear Bar Grilles / Registers can be supplied in anyof the following standard widths:

100 mm (4-inches) 150 mm (6-inches) 200 mm (8-inches) 250 mm (10-inches) 300 mm (12-inches) 300 mm (12-inches)

Non-standard sizes can be ordered to suit the designer specications.

5. NC, and Pressure values shown, are based on a complete unit with an opposed blade damper in the fully open position for the supply register and without damper for the return linear bar grille. Thedamper should only be used for ne balancing, as for every doubling of pressure there is a resulting increase in the noise level of +9dB for supply, orincrease in the noise level of +9dB for supply, or +5dB for exhaust.

6. Models with reduced necks. There is a ‘dilutioneffect’ on performance for these models, as the air tends to spread behind the core, reducing throws byup to 20%, depending on the relationship betweenthe neck size and the base diffuser size.
