LINES ON RABINDRANATH TAGORE

Rabindranath Tagore was born in a household of 14 children. His father name was Devendranath

Tagore. His mother name was Sharda Devi. His left his city at the age of 13. He got Noble Prize for

Literature for his most famous name Gitanjali. He gone to Himalayan station of Dalhousie for studying

art , history and Sanskrit. He was a great poet, philosopher and an artist.

We celebrate the birth anniversary of our great Bengali poet, scholar, novelist –

Rabindranath Tagore in May , on the 25th day of the Bengali calendar month- Baisakh .
