Our Final Song Choice:Our final song choice, Linkin Park - Iridescent, was chosen due to the lyrics. This was a major factor as immediately, the opening to the song starts with "When you were standing in the wake of devastation". The profound message immediately sent to the audience at the beginning of the song is there is a problem and a sense of guilt and hurt is felt. With such powerful lyrics with no real relevance to a specific situation this lyrics fit perfectly as to what we are trying to achieve. We can adapt our music video to show a strong message of Domestic Violence and the aftermath of it. Another line throughout the song which reinforces the message to which we can portray would be "Insides crying, save me now". This indicated that the singer is feeling the effects of Domestic Violence and our awareness of the problem would be able to stretch as fans and the audience would personally be able to connect with the singer.

• The song was originally made for the film Transformers (the third sequel) as the official soundtrack. One of our members of the group had mentioned the song as a favourite of his as he is a fan or Linkin Park along with Transformers. After listening to the lyrics we as a group knew that this would be one of our main songs to consider when researching.

• As a group we also liked the idea of being able to make our music video originally. With no input from the first music video as it was made for a Action Movie, it meant we would be using an oppositional reading as to what the band originally wanted.
