Teacher’s note: Construct 1: Able to identify and distinguish letters of the alphabet Teacher guides the pupil to read the underlined letters by reading the example


Read the underlined letter.

Teacher’s note: Construct 2: Able to associate sounds with the letters of the alphabet. Teacher guides the pupil to say the sounds of the phonemes aloud using the example given.

Teacher’s note: Construct 3: Able to blend the sounds into recognisable words. Teacher guides the pupil in blending the phonemes using the example given. If pupil is able to say the whole word aloud without segmenting it, full mark should be awarded.
