Value Proposition

o Organizations are struggling to meet the challenges posed by the influx of consumer-oriented technology into the workplace, which is eroding standards-based approach to IT, and by the growing expectation of users to access all of their work resources from any location, on any device.

o The Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) is designed to help organizations meet these challenges by providing a people-centric IT solution that gives users access to corporate resources from the devices of their choice, while making it easier for IT administrators to securely manage devices, data, and applications across platforms.

o Offering Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) through Open programs will enable sales of additional Microsoft Cloud services through Distributors and their Reseller channels, targeting small and medium businesses (25-250 PCs.)

o Launch Date: 1st March 2014

o EMS is a subscription-based online service (same as O365 and Intune) and will be sold per seat. Distributor reporting will be via the Subscription Report currently downloaded from Explore.ms.

o Customer Target:  Corporate, Government, Local Government, and Academic customer types
