LIP FILLERS
TIME TO FOCUS ON YOU
Lip fillers are used to add or restore volume to the
lips. If your lips have lost definition over the years,
or if they’ve never had the fullness you’d like,
fillers can enhance their shape and volume and
provide more definition.
Popular with customers of all ages, the results of lip
filler injections can range from very subtle to noticeably
fuller lips, depending on the rest of your facial features
and the desired outcome. Our personalised treatment
programme will ensure that your lip fillers treatment
matches the look you’re after.
Lip fillers can last between 6-12 months depending on
lifestyle factors, and will slowly be broken down by
your body’s own natural processes.
ENHANCE HOW YOU LOOK,
CHANGE HOW YOU FEEL
Lip fillers can add volume to lips that have lost
their plumpness with age, create a more defined
border, and/or enhance the shape. You may feel
that you have a shrinking top lip when you smile
which, following lip fillers, would be fuller and
well-defined, helping you smile with confidence
without feeling as self-conscious.
Lip fillers could even be fitted into a lunch break,
because the procedure only takes between 30 and 45
minutes, and has minimal downtime or side effects.
LET’S DELVE INTO THE DETAIL
As with all medical aesthetic treatments, it’s important
to weigh up the risks involved against the benefits
that the treatment can bring. Your medical aesthetic
practitioner will talk you through all the risks and
complications of the treatment.
Side effects are usually minimal, but you may
experience redness, swelling and bruising around the
injection site.

4. AFTERCARE:
We believe that the highest quality aftercare is just
as important as the treatment itself, so we’re here
to support you. Following the procedure, we’ll give
you an aftercare information sheet, and if you have
any questions or concerns at all, you can contact our
24/7 helpline.
Depending on the type of lip filler that’s used, the
results can last from 6-12 months. The filler solution
we use is made from hyaluronic acid, which is not
permanent and will naturally be absorbed by the
body over time. To achieve the desired results, we’d
recommend building up over a period of time. In
order to maintain your lip volume and definition, your
next session can be booked between 4-6 months
after treatment.
1. TREATMENT CONSULTATION:
Now’s the time to talk to your nurse practitioner or
doctor, with absolutely no obligation to go ahead. You’ll
be able to talk to them about why you’re considering
lip filler treatment, what you hope your lips will look like
after treatment, which filler product/s may be right for
you, the likely costs and finance options, and when you’d
like to have your procedure if you’d like to go ahead, as
well as chatting through the benefits and risks. If you
feel ready to proceed, we can book your treatment in
for a date and time that suits you.
2. THE TREATMENT:
On the day of your lip filler treatment, you’ll be able
to go through any last-minute questions with your
nurse practitioner or doctor. You may want to have
numbing cream applied to your lips, although the filler
itself contains local anaesthetic, so it will depend on
your individual pain threshold. Your practitioner will
then use a very fine needle to carefully complete the
series of small injections. The treatment takes between
30 and 45 minutes and, although you may experience
some slight swelling or bruising, you’ll be able to see
the results straight away.
3. RECOVERY:
You’ll be able to leave the clinic as soon as your
treatment has been completed, and you should be
fine to go about your normal day-to-day activities.
Any swelling usually disappears within 2 days, with
the bruising taking a little longer to fade.
