Provide telephone management services (reviews, analyzes and maintains telecommunications system) to meet the requests of Agrium Place building occupants and Carseland Nitrogen Operations. Investigate, analyze, recommend and maintain new voice technology that will meet Agrium’s organizational objectives. Investigate, analyze, recommend and maintain Company telecommunication policies. Maintain detailed floor plans. This requires organization of the PBX systems and the recording of all adds, moves and changes. Maintain collection of information used in traffic analysis. Responsible for maintaining and understanding video conferencing equipment. Provide training and operating. Primary support and liaison between Agrium and our telecommunications service vendors. Ensures service delivery through delegation and follow up of required off site service calls, as well as internal customer follow up.

alignment with Agrium’s goals and standards. Provide after hour service for Agrium Place telephone problems. Interface with all levels of the organization (including Board of Directors).

My position as Supervisor, Office Services, included the above responsibilities as Analyst, IT Infrastructure. I was transferred in July 2006 to the IT Department as my role in Voice Services was a better fit on the Infrastructure Team (Wide Area Network) due to Voice over IP.

Provided day-to-day supervision, planning, coordination, and scheduling of five office staff responsible for switchboard operations, mail and courier services, and shipping and receiving.
