Sector wise Progress of the Projects taken up by the University for the Month of November-2016

Nine Veterinary Health Camps organised in which treatment of various diseases in animals done. Minikits of Jwar, Castrol and bajra crop distributed free of cost. Samples of Soil collected and Health cards provided to the farmers by Agriculture Department. farmers are benefited by the farming trainings and visits from time to time. Muhami village benefited by PHED under the Fluoride Control Project. and water is being supplied at the interval of 48 hours. Re-encroachment on Sub Health Center removed. A proposal of Rs. 120.88 lacs for water piped scheme in the village has been sent by PHED for financial sanction to higher authorities. Proposal for installation of sanitary napkin vending and incinerator machine in the village and construction of toilet and a kitchen in the Govt.Sec.School has been sent to CEO Zila Parisad by ADM.
E-initiatives A plan for website has been prepared, wherein villagers could upload their grievances.

1. Swachha Bharat Pakhwada was celebrated in Village. Various activities like cleanliness, drives, awareness campaign and rally were organized in the village.
2. Livestock feed Resource Management and Technology centre organized a training programme on “Fodder conservation and Hydroponics Technique” on 28 November, 2016. Thirty livestock onwners participated in this training programme. They were educated about conservation of feed, Urea-Molasses-Mineral Mixture Blocks and Hydroponics Technique.
3. In Kisan Gosthie organised on 22.11.2016 farmers were educated about conservation of animal Biodiversity and its importance.
E-initiatives
Computer Laboratory has been established in community centre of the village, where the centre of AICRP on Marwari goats is also running. Many of the interested villagers and school children are regularly educating about use and importance of computer in this era of information technology. The establishment of computer laboratory will be helpful for E-learning of villagers and rural youth. The University has decided to establish the Information Centre in the Daiyan village to provide various types of information about animal husbandry as well as other schemes & useful information for socio-economic development of rural people. For this purpose a old building has been acquired from the Gram Panchayat. The building has been renovated and finishing work is going on. A rain water harvesting system has been developed in the Information Centre and as well as in Primary School also.

Other:- (i) To upgrade the primary School into Middle School:- we are in contact
Elementary Education Department, Govt. of Rajasthan dor up gradation of primary school. Joint Secretary, Elementary Education (AYOJNA) Deptt. has sent the proposal to promote the primary school into Middle School under Right to Education (RTE) Norms. The Progress will be reviewed in next Co-ordination Committee Meeting.
(ii) To establish sub-centre for livestock:- We are in regular contact with Department of Animal Husbandry, to establish sub-centre for livestock. The proposal has been sent to Additional Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Jaipur by Joint Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Bilkaner. The progress will be reviewed in next Co-ordination Committee Meeting.

Yoga- On every Saturday morning, a Yoga camp organized by Yoga Sadhna Kendra of the University. In the camp, Youth and elderly people took part and performed Yoga. Health Check Up- A Health Check Up Camp organized in the Village on 10.12.2015. In the camp, health of 210 villagers examined and necessary advice and suggestions about health and treatment provided including distribution of Medicines free of cost by the medical team. Clean Village Clean India:- Sanitation campaign started by the students of University in which, road and drains were cleaned, Cutting of trees and earth filling of pits done on every Wednesday and Saturday in Village.
Education 1. An effort was made to create Sanskrit atmosphere in the village. Selected
men, women and children were made aware about the importance of the Sanskrit education. Sanskrit slogans, highlighting Indian Culture and moral values written on the walls. Class 9th and 10th students of the village school were trained in Sanskrit speech.
2. A Personality development camp for children organized on every Sunday.

Health and sanitation services In the month, regular medical & health services were provided to villagers. The medical sub centre was made functional in the village and two doctors (one male & one female) of RUHS are regularly paying medical services at the village.

Oath was taken by school students towards commitments of

Awareness camp was organized at Aaganwadi Centre for beneficiary female and children. Various demonstrations, like hand washing, personal hygiene etc. were given to beneficiaries for hygiene & sanitation.
Another camp for awareness about hygiene & sanitation was organized at village temple for all villagers.
E-governance Smart Health App developed by RUHS for smooth & faster surveillance about diseases among the villagers and for their holistic care.
10 Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner (Jaipur)
1. Celebrated Swachh Bharat Pakhwada (Nov.1-15, 2016) by SKNAU Staff- Students and villagers, in which road side and school cleanliness work was done by the participants. A group discussion was also organized to discuss the importance of health, hygiene and cleanliness.
2. One off- campus training was organized by scientists of SKNAU, Jobner on “Adult Education” on 18-11-2016 at Atal Seva Kendra, Idan ka Bas and approximately 50 people participated.
3. Demonstration of Rabi crops i.e. 7 demonstrations of wheat (Variety Raj-2660), were laid out on farmers' fields and the seeds of these improved varieties were supplied by Rajasthan Agricultural Research Station, Durgapura (Jaipur).
4. The Farmers of village Idan Ka Bas participated in Global Rajasthan Agritechh Meet (GRAM-2016 held at sitapura, Jaipur from Nov. 9-11.2016 and benefitted through visiting the exhibitions and other events.
5. 7th Coordination Committee meeting held on 28.11.2016 at meeting Hall of SKNCOA, Jobner.
6. Repaired tree guards of newly planted tree at Gocher Land of Idan Ka Bas, where there was the mortility new plantation was done.
E-governance - To be taken up..

1. Through University's awareness generation for education, cent percent of the village children have started attending school.
2. The University has gifted 13 sewing machines to women of the village. 3. Specific application like local solid waste management, public health,
livelihood programs, village enterprises, energy audit, animal sciences, agricultural development etc. Should be taken up intensively for our Nandra Kalan Village.
4. Adarsh Gram being planned under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana should be linked to Adoption of Village b JNVU.
5. The regular monitoring and review of the progress should be on scientific and pragmatic grounds. For this "Effective Service Delivery Organization Model" could be developed for the effective implementation of these phases.
6. Program on Convergence for rural development which should be linked to adoption of Nandra Kalan Village as "Smart Village"
7. Visit by Nodal Officer and the team for the reappraisal of the programmes conducted by the university in the adopted village.
8. Successful plantation drive of useful tress was conducted. 9. organization of free eye check up camp, more than 50 intraocular lenses
were implanted. 10. Villagers along with the sarpanch were made aware of the government
schemes. 11. Financing of the door to door garbage collection vehicle by the
university. Nine trash boxes (dustbin) were provided by the university. Cleanliness of public spaces, roads, ponds etc were reviewed and found good.

17. Garbage collection, cleanling of public places, streets & roads etc were found satisfactory.
18. Visit by Nodal officer with Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor prof. R.P. Singh and the team to village. Alocal work shop for basic aspects like basic financial litercy, adult education health sports, disaster management for all the residents of the Nandra Kalan village organization in Government School Nandra Kalan. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor prof.R.P. singh addressed to villagers along with panch & sarpanch to aware drugs, literacy, adult education, Girls education etc. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor prof.R.P. singh proclaimed to give three computers for the computer lab of the village.
19. Visit by Nodal Officer with Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.P. Singh and the team to review the progress of programmers conducted by the university in the adopted village.

E-initiative:- Two computer laboratory were set up as per the commitment. one computer lab established in Govt. Secondary School, Nandra kalla village for the students. Another One established at Atal sewa kenra for the villagers.

Two information assistant have been appointed wide order no. 2383 dated 01.09.2016 for series of lectures on E-literacy. They both took class on 10 and 17 October. Information Assistant will continue taking classes, twice every month, for the above stated objects.
Swachh Bharat Pakhwada Swachh Bharat Pakhwada was Celebrated from 1st November, 2016 to 15th November, 2016 by Staff- Students and villagers, in which road side and school cleanliness work was done by the participants.

Agriculture productivity 1. Organized a meeting of farmers and briefed the farmers about latest
package of practices of Mustard, Chick pea and Cumin crops. Farmers were also informed about way of application of the new herbicide in cumin i.e. oxadiargy1@50/gha in 600 liters of water 20-25 Days after sowing to manage weeds.
2. Visited fields of castor frontline demonstration to select to spots for monitoring Team Visit which is scheduled to seen the demonstrations in Mid of Dec., 2016 from Indian institute of oilseeds Research, Hyderabad. Shri Goverdhan Ram s/o Shri Urja Ram Chaudhary, a castor grower farmer of Smart Village Neora Road was also selected for innovative Farmers Award and Felicitation by IIOR, Hyderabad in Castor Farmers Fair at IIOR, Hyderabad scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on 24th Feb. 2016
3. Collected fodder yield data of the Front line Demonstrations of pearl millet and took information from farmers regarding fodder quality of the project Hybrids “RHB 177” and “MPMH 17” recently released by project Coordinator pearl millet Unit.
4. Visited Smart Village and confirmed showing of Demonstration crops of Mustard, Chick pea and Cumin. All the senior Citizens of the each farm visited by the Scientist were also contacted to find out any pending issues of Senior Citizens like Health, Pension and any other specific problem.

have been conducted at smart village to increase the productivity and to demonstrate to farmers about latest technology through Front Line Demonstrations.

3. Custom hiring Center established with the help of University. 4. Natural farm pond has been constructed for water

1. Senior citizens camp- University has organized camp for Senior citizen in which health checkup and felicitation of five oldest. Sr. citizens of the Smart Village was done.

2. NICRA project- Custom Hiring Centre of farm implements is working at Chomakot Village for easy and timely availability of agriculture implements. During the month of November, 60 farmers used farm implements from this centre. Front Line Demonstration were laid out in Wheat (25) and Coriander (35) on farmer's fields.
3. Demonstrations have been conducted on back yard poultry for the livelihood and nutritional security of land less labourers of the village.
4. Dairy project- Demonstrations have been conducted on Bio-gas plant, for energy saving & health care of women. Established 10 Bio-gas plants in the village. Besides this, 15 demonstrations have been also conducted on special feeding for cows.
5. 10 soil samples were analyzed and 30 soil health cards were issued to farmers of the smart village

E-initiative has been planned. A person has been deputed in the village for
this purpose.

A campaign on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized from 1st to 15th November in the village and on 8th November 2016 villagers were educated on importance of swatcchta through flex banners. Cleaning work has also been done in Shri Ram Govt. Se. Sec. School in village Nimoda (Hariji). On 10th November 2016 a essay competition on topic “Swachh Bharat – Healthy and Prosperous Bharat” was also organized among Shri Ram Govt. Se. Sec. School (Boys) and Govt. Upper Primary School (Girls) children. On 12th November 2016 a rally was organized in the village on importance of Swachhta Abhiyan. Children of Shri Ram Govt. Se. Sec. School were actively participated in the Swachhta Abhiyan.

a) HRD A Off-campus trainings were organized at village Chhali and Undithal on “Improved cultivation of Gram”. In both the village 48 farmers were provided knowledge about seed treatment and gram cultivation. b) Demonstration - Laid-out 10 demonstration on wheat HI-1531 in 2.0 ha area in Chhali village. - Gram and Mustard demonstration are in good condition. Farmers were advised weeding and thinning in mustard. - Clothes were provided to 81 poor students and villages. - Soybean thresher was provided to farmers and it worked about 11.0 hrs. Pedal operated thresher was also provided and farmers are using this facility. E-initiative taken by university On 10th September, 2016 Hon'ble MP was requested to take up the matter with Hon'ble Communication Minister, Gol for installation of BSNL Tower.
