What is Digital Literacy?


The Ministry of Education in British Columbia:

“the interest, attitude and ability of individuals to appropriately use digital technologyand communication tools to access, manage, integrate, analyze and evaluate information, construct new knowledge, create and communicate with others in order to participate effectively in society”

How to Work It


First, some rules:The learner is in control.

Be patient with new learners.

Don’t assume that they know.

Be focused, flexible, & creative.

Admit when you don’t know.

Constant repetition and practice.
