LITHOCHROME Chemstain Class ic

produces variegated, translucent color effects

unique to each surface. The beautiful patina is

ideal to simulate the shadings of natural stone

or create artistic faux finishes. Due to their

chemical reaction with concrete, Chemstain

colors become part of the surface. They will

not fade, chip, crack, or peel. Initial application

of a compatible sealer or coating and periodic

maintenance are required.

CS-12 Weathered Bronze over CHROMIX® Color-Conditioned® Concrete in Mesa Beige with a lightbroom finish. Bands of stained concreteare adjacent to an exposedaggregate finish.

LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic

For optimum performance and durability SCOFIELD® Selectseal-W™ isrecommended for sealing and protecting chemically stained surfaces.Variations will be heightened when Chemstain flatwork is sealed withany of the compatible sealers: CEMENTONE® Clear Sealer, SCOFIELD®

Cureseal-W™, SCOFIELD® Cureseal-S™, or SCOFIELD Selectseal-W.

Repeated washing to neutralize and remove the acid-based stainresidue is an essential step in the process of chemical staining. Unlessthis procedure is thoroughly completed, results will be unsatisfactorylong-term and sealers will not perform properly.
