6.0 Visitors Policy

Policy StatementLittle Ducklings Preschool ensures that any names of visitors on site are recorded for emergency, insurance, registration and fire safety purposes.

All visitors are valued for whatever reason, but the children are of paramount importance.

All visitors are welcomed and their enquiries dealt with as soon as possible. Children and parents are welcome to visit Little Ducklings Preschool prior to starting

with us. No visitor will be left alone with children or able to accompany them to the toilet. Whenever possible, visitors should make an appointment to visit Little Ducklings

Preschool. Visitors are asked to sign in and out of the setting, giving reasons for their visit. The fire evacuation procedure and confidentiality policy will be explained to all

visitors upon entry to the premises.

If a visitor calls unannounced We ask for identification, who they wish to see and ask for the purpose of their visit. No person is buzzed into Little Ducklings Preschool ground unannounced. In all cases, the visitor’s book has been signed and procedures explained.

Little Ducklings Preschool reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whom we feel are unable to explain the purpose of their visit.
