Our summer camp is all about having fun! Children will have the opportunity to explore different themes along with our regular Montessori activities.

What: June 1st – June 15th Prehistoric World June 16th – June 30th Artic & Antarctic Animals July 1st – July 15th Under the Sea July 16th – July 31st Rainforest Adventures

When: Monthly Summer Camp Sessions June 1st through July 31st, Monday through Friday (see schedule).Who: Children ages 2-10 are invited to join the fun!

Monthly Cost: $590 (Half Day) 9.00 am – 12.00 pm $730 (Extended Day) 9.00 am – 3.00 pm $960 (Full Day) 8.30 am – 5.30 pm

Prehistoric World: Take a trip back in time. We will discover a time when prehistoric animals ruled the earth. Students will learn how a paleontologist digs up fossils and will have an opportunity to dig up fossils themselves. We will also explore prehistoric animal mod-els and their body structures. We will discuss different types of animals and where the remains were found.

Under the Sea: Life is like the ocean. The further you go into it the more you will discover. There are more fish and plants in the sea than you could ever imagine. We will begin by learning about the differ-ent mammals that live in our ocean, such as dolphins, sharks, etc. Many children often believe that fishes are the only living inhabitants in the ocean. Little do they know that plants are alive in the ocean as well.

Arctic & Antarctic Animals: Students will learn how animals survive in the icy-snow and bitter cold of the arctic? Children will learn about some special animals such as pen-guins, polar bears, walrus, etc. and how they adapt to survive. Children will also learn about types of pen-guins and where they are found.

Rainforest Adventures: Children will be transported into a viv-id tropical rainforest environment with jungle sounds, sights and smells. We will peel back the layers of rainforest and have an in depth look at the var-ious plants and animals that inhabit each layer of the forest. We will talk about how and why animals camou-flage themselves against predators. Come on board for a fun journey!
