On this Elst day of July, 1919, the board of tru 1 -^^ for the State Ilormal Scbo41 met pursuant to adjournment in the of- fice of Joe Ferguson, with following members present, to-wit: J.I. Bond, Hogan Oliver, Joe Frauenthol and Joe Ferguson. Absent "v/.Z.Lenon, L.S.Duriaway and Judge A.l.IIutchins. The meeting was called to order by J.L.3ond chairman, and the following proceedings wer>~ hid, to-wit: Ilinutes of the proceeding meeting read arid approved. Jfter a careful examination of all the proposals submitted a contract was entered into with Thomas Cox £ Sons for the ma- chinery needed. A copy of said contract is now on file with the secretary of the board. The committee on insurance was directed to increase the fire insurance on the main building to -,-100000 .00 , and the fire insjir- ance on the main building to ^50000.00, the contents of the main building to 1315000.00 and the Tornado insurance on the main buil- ding to $25000.00. jpire insurance on the girls domitory to remain the same as it now is, and the tornado insurance at ^24000. 00. j'-ire insurance on the model school to remain the same and the tornado placed at 02000.00. insurance on model barn to remain the same and Tornado placed, at 0500.00. .L>lre insurance on farm dwelling to remain the same and Torna- do placed &t §200.00. .alre insurance on the farm dwelling barn to remain the same and Tornado placed at ySOO.OO. Heating plant to have. fire insurance for ;;|;5000.00, Tornado ;;,>2500.00 and $4000.00 on contents, including machinery 3tc. On motion of llr. Oliver, Ji.G.llgness was gisren ,^25.000.00 of fire insurance on the administration building, provided he could give us insurance with reputable companies aceptable to the committee on insurance. On motion of Llr. Oliver, J. I. Bond, as chairman, and Joe ffergu- son as secretary was authorized and directed to sign contract with Thomas Cox & Sons for the- machinery purchased, and the loan of tools necess&ry to install said machinery after it had been delivered on board the cars at Conway Arke,nsas<4/*~^/»-> ^ !* On motion of Mr. Oliver a committee composed of J. I. Bond, B. V/.Torreyson and Joe ]?rauentho? ,were directed to install the ma- chinery and buy grates for same.
