initially moved from Chicago toEl Paso for school and later builthis business here.

Major Military ImpactFort Blissand the William Beaumont Army Medical Center

provide an annual economic impact of $6 billion to El Paso andthe region, and an even larger Beaumont hospital is being plannedfor 2017. That is according to a study released by the University of

Texas at El Paso's Institute for Policy and Economic Development,which points out that Fort Bliss stations 29,000 soldiers and 8,000
