and prejudices • Act on the thought


• Inconsistency happens when you turn the original vibration into something that is not easily recognized


• Example: • Company says respect is high on the

list of values • Company shows respect to clients

and build a good reputation


• However, you give an employee incomplete instructions and the employee does an unacceptable job

• You say nothing


• Employee does a second unacceptable job and you demand overtime to re-do the job

• This time you give complete instructions


• You accuse the employee of doing half a job

• Nothing to do with your inadequate instructions or processes

• No respect for the employee


• When you fail, your company values provide promotional material and a professional façade


• Company values must guide all actions in your company

• When you act against your company values, internal damage is done


• One discrepancy opens the door for another

• This breeds a culture where challenging malpractice is unacceptable


• This is where the ship sinks
