LR Insurance, Inc. is an Authorised Inspection Agency (AIA) accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for the inspection of boilers, pressure vessels, transport tanks and nuclear power plant components constructed in accordance with the requirements contained in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME Code).

Authorised Inspectors holding valid National Board Commissions issued by the United States National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (the National Board) are available to undertake this inspection for all items to be designed, fabricated and tested in accordance with the relevant sections of ASME Code.Through our Authorised Inspectors/Authorised Inspectors Supervisors based in Bucharest office we can offer ASME inspection services at competitive fees.

As a third party inspection agency ,Lloyd's Register Romania, may offer:

-Design appraisal services relating to a variety of systems and components including machinery,piping systems, pressure equipment, lifting equipment and electrical and control equipment.For PED the design appraisal activity is carried out in Bucharest office therefore the duration and cost of the design appraisal are significantly reduced

-Inspection services in respect of pressure equipment, fabrications, materials, containers, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and lifting equipment.

-Welders and welding procedure qualification services to EN standards and ASME Code requirements or Lloyd’s Register Rules.

- NDT personnel qualification to the requirements of the Directive 97/23/EC

We are also authorised to carry out third party independent inspection of assets like Pressure Vessels to almost all International Codes and Standards includingASME: North America,PED / TPED: European Union,MOM: Singapore, MLHW: Japan,OHS: Australia,OSH: New Zealand,DOSH: Malaysia,IBR: India.
