An audit involves performing procedures to obtainaudit evidence about the amounts and disclosures inthe financial statements. The procedures selecteddepend on the auditor's judgment, including theassessment of risks of material misstatement of thefinancial statements, whether due to fraud or error. Inmaking those risk assessments, the auditor considersinternal controls relevant to the entity's preparationand fair presentation of the financial statements inorder to design audit procedures that are appropriatein the circumstances, but not for the purpose ofexpressing an opinion on the effectiveness of theentity's internal control. An audit also includesevaluating the appropriateness of accounting policiesused and the reasonableness of accountingestimates made by management, as well asevaluating the overall presentation of the financialstatements.
We believe that the audit evidence we have obtainedis sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for ouraudit opinion.
Opinion
In our opinion, the financial statements present fairly,in all material respects, the financial position ofHealthy Generations as at December 31, 2013 andthe results of its operations and its cash flows for theyear then ended in accordance with Canadianaccounting standards for not-for-profit organizations.

The Foundation is exposed to credit risk resultingfrom the possibility that parties may default on theirfinancial obligations. The Foundation's maximumexposure to credit risk is the sum of the carryingvalue of its cash and its accounts receivable. TheFoundation's cash is deposited with a Canadianchartered bank and as a result, managementbelieves the risk of loss on this item to be remote. The Foundation manages its credit risk by reviewingaccounts receivable aging monthly and following upon outstanding amounts.
